Re: Angela Weber

When did Jacob see Angela in BD?
I don't think he did. What I meant was prior to BD I didn't think he had seen Angela so I HOPED they would meet in BD and he would imprint on her.

I was disappointed at the end too, but maybe someday there will be a "new" Bixby...

Re: Renee Dwyer

my bad, I meant graduation, not the wedding. I am sorry, but if my child was on her deathbed, there is NO way someone-mortal or not-was going to keep me from being there-and if she really was at the CDC...I would have camped outside just to be near. But, then, this is Renee, and she is not your tota...

Re: Angela Weber

I love Angela, and even more so after reading Midnight Sun. I honestly thought that Jacob would imprint on her in BD, I couldn't remember him seeing her prior to that. I was a little bummed that he imprinted on Nessie because of my hopes. True friends to the end, I wish more teenage girls could be l...

Re: Laurent

I am mixed about Laurent. In Twilight I thought he was noble and worthy of staying with Denali clan to avoid any animosity with the Cullens. However, when he was recruited by Victoria and found Bella in the meadow, shame on him. Maybe he tried to be vegetarian, maybe he didn't. But he knew what kill...

Re: Renee Dwyer

Flighty at best. Sure, she has a motherly love for Bella, but has no clue that she is the reason Bella is the way she is. A middle aged teenager? Mothering at her best, I can't fault Renee, I am really glad SM didn't dwell on her character through the book. Who can't make it to their childs wedding?...

Re: Gex X--the 30 something thread

Gee, I went to college for 2 1/2 years studying psychology. I quit school when I got married. I decided psychology was not for me...I discovered I was more screwed up than my patients would be! I now work for my dad's company (for almost 12 years) and I run his office. So, I am absolutely not where ...

Re: Scott Westerfeld --The Uglies series

I'm 34 and I loved the Uglies series. I, like a lot of others, did not care for Extras. I was not much into popularity contests back in HS so this book was really shallow for me. Tally-wa. I need to re-read them again. Very imaginative and creative. They were in pre-production months ago according t...

Re: Not Big, Not Small either

Growing up, I was Twiggy, skinny minney, toothpick. The boys called me "little ones"-they were cruel. My body caught up when I was a sophomore in HS, so when I graduated I was 5'10, taller than most of the boys. I weighed 120 pounds. I was skinny. Life caught up with me after I got pregnan...

Re: Scott Westerfeld_The Midnighters Series

I'm almost done with the third book of Midnighters now. LOVE them. Peeps and the Last Days not so much. Recommend all Midnighters books as a must read. The Uglies series was really good (not so much of a fan of Extras though) but Uglies as a movie would be sweet. Since Twilight I have been reading a...
