Re: Joham

Oh, I'd never thought of that, but I bet you're right. That would be an interesting place to take Renesmee's story--the Volturi threatening the Cullens through Joham.

And Edward's response would be classic. :D

Re: How many times have you read the saga?

My mom and I have been exchanging emails every day discussing a quote from each of the books, and getting through the Cullen-less parts took months. It was depressing and made getting to Italy SUCH a relief!! Now, we're starting Eclipse. :D

Re: How many times have you read the saga?

I agree. New Moon is what makes Eclipse "tick". Without it, there's no back story and understanding of Bella and Jake's relationship or why Edward understands (though not completely) why Jake is so necessary for Bella. Without the sorrow, you don't get the full happiness later---the juxtap...

Re: How many times have you read the saga?

Sometimes it just hits harder than others. :( Honestly, the first time I read it, I didn't cry at all. I figured since there were 2 more books it must end happily, so I just re...

Re: Wanda/Melanie Casting Thread

I’m not familiar with this actress, but I’m hoping that things will start rolling for this film to be made. Right now, I’m thinking it’s a good idea to cast the same person as Melanie/Wanderer since as others pointed out Wanda is going to move on to a new host. Though voice-overs aren’t the most vis...

Re: Question of the Week 9-15

In the book, Wanda explains that Motherhood was treasured, valued, and esteemed above all else, so if the couple did not want to give up their baby as a host for a new soul, they would not be forced to. I think, this means too, that all souls would respect the couple and not coerce or think ill of t...

Re: Did you get someone to read Twilight?

I got my Mom to read them, and then my youngest sister read them on the sly, and then my mother-in-law, and my aunt...and a couple of others. :D
