Ya, I read back to some other posts, and your theory is a little off- SM even explained it on her site. The venom fluid that flows through their bodies is different for different organs. A different variation of the venom flows in their eyes, in their "blood" stream, and other . . .parts.

Stretchmarks? Hmm... she probably got them just like a normal person did - the baby may have grown quicker, but it grew to the same size. So I'm saying yes to stretchmarks. BUT - when she becomes a vamp, they're going to fade or go away anyway probably. *shrugs*

Interesting question though. Fun to think about these things.

I wonder if Bella got stretchmarks??? LOL I mean I did and I had the whole 9 months to slowly stretch...I wonder how many she got??!?!!! hehe

I think she may have gotten stretch marks while she was pregnant but when she became a vamp her body would've been perfect - no stretch marks. I'm saying this because she had a pretty traumatic birth scene and I think she may have been pretty beaten up..and Edward or I think Jasper says in Eclipse, when Jazz tells his story that venom is the only thing that makes a mark, and all vamps skin is perfect and marble with no blemishes or anything like scars or things from their human lives..so i think she became just as smooth and perfect as Edward's marble chest and stomach..

I have to say that i wasnt really surprised when Bella figured out that she was pregnant. I mean yea she coulda been tired and extra hungry from all the activities Edward had her doing, but i just had a feeling.

And the fact that she didnt want an abortion did kinda surprise me but...i probably woulda did the same thing.....but its hard to say since i dont plan on having a baby with a vampire lol.

I must say, I love this thread. Never in my mind would I have even given thought to stretch marks. It's a perfectly sane thought though.
