So if you were around before the boards crashed, you may or may not know that I was thoroughly confused about how a 25-chromosone vampire could have a normal child with a 23-chromosone human. Well, I did my research this time other than relying on my limited public school knowledge of it, and I found that this could happen.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mules
In the first paragraph you read that donkeys have 62 chromosones, horses have 64. But they can reproduce and make a mule. I still don't get it, but it can happen. Which also brings up an interesting point. Not all mules are sterile. Some female mules can reproduce with purebred horses or donkeys. It's the same with a liger. Here's the site:

So maybe Renesmee could have children with Jacob. Hmmm...

umm. wow. i didn't know thge liger/female mule thing. so now we could be theoretically looking at a huma/vamp/werewolf baby?? i wanna see that!!! that raises some interesting questions, like could it become a werewolf, or not? would it be immortal? there are more, i'm sure, but i really can't think right now. :D

^^ yeah. I wonder how that would work thought.

Wait, sorry if this is vulgar or anything, I don't meant to be I'm just curious. I that if when Nessie grows up, if she will be more vampire of human. Meaning will she have a period? Or will she just be a biological dead end like other female vampires? Are kids even possible for her?

i think it is actually still possible for her to have kids tho becuz (cant remember where i read this) but in the book it said that the only reason vampires cant get pregnant is cuz they are frozen in their current state, and babies need development to grow so thats why their mothers cant have a baby. but since nessie is obviously growing, it means that she still has the potential to have a baby...just a thought, any insight into my theory?

Also going back to the chromosome thing, since were wolves have 23 or w/e chromosomes, and they can still have babies, i guess since nessie has the same amount of chromosomes, im assuming she probly could too :D
Mom dropped him alot when he was a baby. Leah told me.
On his head, apparently.

Looks like it, Leah thought.
Seth snorted. Funny. Why don't you two shut up and sleep?

yeah. I guess that makes sense. Since she is obviously growing...

B.t.w. Vampires have 25 chromosomes, werewolves 24, and humans 23. But does Nessie have 24? Maybe she has 24 and a half *gasp*! No JK. I honestly don't know. Anybody have any guesses?

but would Renesmee be able to have kids when she's fully grown? Cause when she's fully matured, she stops growing, right? So how could she get pregnant? If she could have kids though, I wonder what they would be like.

yeah good point about her not growing once she reaches maturity, but whut i meant was since she was growing already...she might still have the POTENTIAL to continue to change (but only during pregnancy maybe?) but who noes except SM lol...anyways i wonder whut her kids would be like too  omg whut if theyre like
human-vampires who can change into werewolves too?! :o
