^No, Johnny Depp can do anything. I guess casting really depends on the budget though, and Johnny Depp might be sorta expensive..

My fantasy casting would be:

Kate - Eva Green
Garrett - John Stamos
Tanya - Melissa George (or in a bit more unrealistic scenario: Angelina Jolie)
Siobhan - Queen Latifah
Aro - Jonathan Rhys Meyers (I totally could see Johnny Depp in the role, too!)
Caius - Ryan Gosling
Marcus - James McAvoy
Leah - Q'orianka Kilcher
Jane - Dakota Fanning (But because Jane is in three books and Dakota obviously ages they probaply have to cast somone older who just looks young. In that case Ellen Page would be great).

Obviously such casting could never happen because most of these actors are way too expensive for such a small roles.. But this is how I've imagined the characters in my head.

I think Eva Green would be better as Heidi than Kate...she's gorgeous. I saw her in Casino Royale. The only saving grace to that pathetic film. Eliza Dushku would make a pretty good Kate in my opinion.

Totally pumped because it sounds like from the Reelz Channel interview that all of the actors who have been in the movie are signed on through three - now the first one just has to make money!

Wow, Johnny Depp for Aro, I never would have thought of him, but maybe that would work. I don't know I still see them as being physically as older just because of all they have lived through, all they have done for hundreds of years unlike Carlisle who has chosen a less stressful less violent life to lead.

Johnny Depp would be freakin fantastic - and the nice thing about him is he takes HUGE pay cuts when he really likes a project. That being said, I feel like he's not old enough in my mind to be one of the brothers... but I love him so much I would not care. Haha. Plus, imagine all that the young actors would learn from him.

I'd never have thought of Johnny Deep but he has been so many crazy characters plus he has the personality to make the character great and creepy. I never thought Johnny Deep would sing but wow guess he can.
