If there is a New Moon

AHHHH Just saw Taylor Lautner on My Own Worst Enemy. He looks taller already or maybe it's because Christian Slater is short.. LOL, however Taylor looks a little bigger on the chest area, so maybe he is working out for New Moon!!!

I was listening to this Twilight podcast (Imprint) and they were talking about how New Moon doesn't have enough material to be a movie and that nobody would like it if they focused on Jacob's character. Psh. But honestly, I think that NM would make an excellent movie...It was SO ominous. The way they were talking about future Twilight movies. Jeez. All it takes is a good script and a cast.

I actually think New Moon has more action then Twilight.

First it's Edward leaving her
then the depression she goes through
then the motorcycles and Jacob
then the town is seeing giant wolves or bears
The movie date with Jacob and Mike
Then Laurent appears and the wolves kill him
Then she learns Jacob became a werewolf
The pack scene at Emily's place
than the whole Cliff jumping thing
then Alice comes back
Then the flight to Italy
then the chase through the clock tower
then the Volturri
Then the whole flight back and Charlie's reaction to Bella's disappearance
Then Edward and Bella scene
Then Jacob and Edward scene in the end.

It actually HAS more things happening in it than Twilight where the only really "tense" part was the ballet studio fight scene in the end.

But what some may think would be the problem with NM is that TW gets people into the romance of it all, but then the book turns away from the romance and Bella's so depressed. So the audience targeted (who haven't read the books) before may not like the less-than-romantic circumstances Bella's in.

I think that fact alone gives New Moon more substance. It throws a wrench in the works so to speak of their relationship. It thickens the plot instead of "just a teenage love story" This is where the "angst" starts.
Then bringing in another strong character in Jacob makes it even better. More twist, more turns.

I just hope that Bella doesn't get as whiney as she was in NM as in the film. That was my only complaint with the book.

And yeah, I agree, there are LOTS more action scenes in NM than Twilight.
