Lucas by Kevin Brooks. It's really good so far. I'll let you know how it ends.

Since there was not much on TV this long weekend, I finished a few books:

Girl Sleuth- which tells the story of how Nancy Drew was created and the people behind the character. It was a really fun, nonfiction read.

Age of Bronze Vol 2 and 3- This is part of a graphic novel series that tells the story of the Trojan War. I loved each volume and I really hope the author continues to make more volumes. A great read for fans of Greek Mythology, but just a few warning-lots of violence and quite a few sex scenes.

Not sure what I'll read next. Maybe two historical, fiction picture books. One about Abe Lincoln and the other about how the Empire State Building was built.

Good book! Just don't pay too much attention to all the back story about the family, that's really what slowed me down. I loved Lisbeth! I have the second book from the library and need to read it soon since there are already holds in the book.

Finished two picture books, Stand Tall, Abe Lincoln and Skyboys. Both are great and could be taught in a Social Studies class for elementary school. Currently, I'm reading The Lost Summer of Louisa May Alcott and really like it! I'm half way done.
