I was thinking exactly the same. If you're a regular on a few threads (and most people are) you tend to bookmark and go directly there. I never used to look at the Index. I think you're right: most regular users (the ones who miss out the Index) frequent a "hangout place" where they meet up with their buddies (whether it's a team, a generation thread or whatever). That's probably a great way of catching a lot of users. Thanks for the suggestion!

I'm about half-way through the Bree Tanner novella. Loving it so far! Only 21 days until the ECLIPSE premier!! :D
I am so enjoying this summer off stuff! Reading, writing, working out, ... whatever I feel like doing BESIDES teaching! 8-)
Listening to the Eclipse soundtrack right now. Really loving Sia's "My Love"!

Happy Birthday Spookybell!

I'm getting so excited for Eclipse. I'm trying not to be too spoiled, but I have seen a few clips and I love this story. Just a few more weeks. Eeek.

bac~~I am so proud of you for staying almost spoiler free. I just can't do it. I'm not strong enough. Plus, I figure the more I see before hand, the less likely I am to be a screaming squeeing blubbering mess the night of the premier.

QOTD: Who is your favorite vampire character from any book? male or female... (you can pick a vampire created by SM, but then you have to give another character from a different author!)

Alice from SM and then Elvis from the Sookie series. Even though I never finished the series, he just cracks me up.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GNE!

Vampires in books....hmmmm. I must admit, I haven't read a lot of vampire books. I have read several of the Sookie books and I can admit I have a bit of a crush on Eric. (And I've never seen the tv show so that isn't swaying me). The Elvis character is very funny Openhome. I agree. I don't know that I have any favorite vampire character, I'm not vampire-aphied enough. Heehee.

Happy Birthday, GNE! Hope you have a gutterific day!

Favorite vamps: Hmm..let's see.
From the SM world: Edward, Carlisle, and Alice.
From the BDB world: Butch, V, and Rhage are in my top three, but somewhere are also: JM, Blay, Qhuinn, Xhex, and the vamp shellans.
From the Vampire Chronicles from Anne Rice: Louis and Lestat followed by Armand.
From Vampire Diaries (TV show): Damon!

All the other vamps that I pop into my head right away, but I'm sure there are more.
