I saw The Secret Life of Walter Mitty last night.
I enjoyed it immensely. The first half hour I could especiall relate to, as that is what goes on inside my head almost constantly. I found the things he did for real a little less believable, but it was still a lot of fun. I loved the ending and the message it was trying to convey. I also loved that everything wasn't necesarily wrapped up in a neat package like many stories.
What was the last movie you saw?

Well, I just saw Thor: The Dark World. Laughed my butt off, though I'm not sure it was meant to be a comedy.

Do you think you were meant to laugh in those scenes or was it just that they were so ridiculous it was funny?

yeah, there were moments where i teared up a bit. . it was interesting to see how the mary poppins movie was born. and also how it almost didn't happen at all because the author was so against animations and musicals because it all ended up in it. . she was so against the disney company in general and actually avoided and put off making the movie for like 20 years apparently. all in all a backstory i was not aware of.
