Hello!
Wow, the Alice thread isn't dead quite yet! Yay!
I'm so glad you're back Willowtree. Yep, I was lured into the Dark Side and I'm a mod now. I still love playing on the Lex, but now I get to go on other threads as well. Thanks for the warm mod welcome!

Congratz Kayla!!
Yeah, let's get this thread back to live!!
Haven't been on for ages....School sucks
I just had a fight with my english teacher yesterday. We got back a quiz and there was one sentence where we had to fill in gaps. I wrote "He has no interest in sports" and he said that was wrong. According to him only "He shows no interest in sports" is right.
I was sure that my version was right but he didn't even listen to me and eventually I started swearing in Spanish. Then I promised him I'd ask my american host mother and everyone on the APPC and everyone it takes to make him believe my version is right.
So my host mother said "He has no interest in sports" was perfectly correct.
What do you guys think?
Vanessa

Either are good. 'Shows' is more formal, but 'has' works just as well.
kayla~ Wow! that must be fun.
any ideas for any parties...?

Shows is a British form, has is the American. You can tell her an American teacher said so. Either one works, but one is better for American English.
Well, the premier is coming up really soon. We can have a Bree party, but that is kind of morbid, really
How about a beach party, plain and simple next weekend as a pre-Eclipse thing? We can worry about the movie and sip cold drinks on the sand. We can post favorite pics from the movie or even better, our favorite parodies from You Tube. How does that sound??

Re: Alice's Party Planning Committee - Round #4
Sorry guys, I haven't been on forever. I just graduated from high school plus a ton of personal stuff going on so my life's been pretty crazy right now. A beach party sounds great, but I don't know how much worrying there will be from me, everything I've seen looks amazing.
Before I go any farther into this post let me say, Congratulations, Kayla!!!!!
Yeah, a Bree party would be kinda morbid. Woohoo, she dies! So, has anyone else finished The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner? I thought it was pretty awesome myself but, I'd like to hear from some other people.
I will try to be better about getting on more (and I hope all of you will, too!) but, like I said, my life's insane. You have my permission to virtually slap me if I don't.

Re: Alice's Party Planning Committee - Round #4
I see you guys like to plan parties. Well the Cullens have been having a fun party today. It's Edward's birthday! I pulled out all the stops. I wish you all could have come to see the mansion and the yard. No frilly pink for Edward. I would say I'm exhausted from all of it, but I'm NOT!
Amazing how someone so tiny can be so irritating....
