Goodnight Elizabeth gets the credit for this one again!

1 We get a much closer look at Leah in this chapter. After the discussion between Jacob and Leah, do you have a different understanding of her? What is your opinion of her, has it changed? If so, how?

2. What do you think about the future plans that Jacob, Leah and Seth have discussed? Do you feel that the tribe will let them both go? Do you feel that Seth will stay?

3. Do you agree with Leah’s assessment in that she is a genetic dead-end? If Leah is able to stop shifting, will her menopausal state end? What are your theories about Leah possibly imprinting?

4. What do you think about Jacob’s feelings of betrayal towards Edward, is it justified? How would you feel if you were in Jacob’s shoes?

5. Edward now feels that the creature is now a child. Why does hearing the baby’s thoughts change Edward’s assessment of the situation?

1 We get a much closer look at Leah in this chapter. After the discussion between Jacob and Leah, do you have a different understanding of her? What is your opinion of her, has it changed? If so, how?
It's not a different understanding, just a better one. I still don't like how mean she is all the time but at least now I understand why she is that way much better. No, my opinion didn't change.

2. What do you think about the future plans that Jacob, Leah and Seth have discussed? Do you feel that the tribe will let them both go? Do you feel that Seth will stay?
I wish they'd stay and stay together. But they do need to finish school too. Yeah, I think the tribe will let them go and Sam will be relieve to have Leah go so he doesn't have to deal with her anymore.

3. Do you agree with Leah’s assessment in that she is a genetic dead-end? If Leah is able to stop shifting, will her menopausal state end? What are your theories about Leah possibly imprinting?
The evidence is on Leah's side in the genetic dead end thing. I don't know the future so I don't know about her menopause or possibly imprinting.

4. What do you think about Jacob’s feelings of betrayal towards Edward, is it justified? How would you feel if you were in Jacob’s shoes?
He's just upset that everybody loves the baby when they first thought that the baby didn't love anybody else, especially Bella.

5. Edward now feels that the creature is now a child. Why does hearing the baby’s thoughts change Edward’s assessment of the situation?
Because he knows that the baby loves Bella now and doesn't want to hurt her. She just can't help it, is all.

1 We get a much closer look at Leah in this chapter. After the discussion between Jacob and Leah, do you have a different understanding of her? What is your opinion of her, has it changed? If so, how? My opinion of her didn't really change but I liked being to understand her more.

2. What do you think about the future plans that Jacob, Leah and Seth have discussed? Do you feel that the tribe will let them both go? Do you feel that Seth will stay? I doubt they would let them go. Sam enjoys his power too much (in my opinion) and I'm pretty sure if they tried to leave he would try to convince them to stay.

3. Do you agree with Leah’s assessment in that she is a genetic dead-end? If Leah is able to stop shifting, will her menopausal state end? What are your theories about Leah possibly imprinting? I don't think she's a genetic dead end. I like to think that if she wanted she'd be able to have kids. I would think there's the possibility she can imprint & be happy in the future with someone.

4. What do you think about Jacob’s feelings of betrayal towards Edward, is it justified? How would you feel if you were in Jacob’s shoes? I can see why he'd feel that way. They were "together" on their hatred of the baby & what it was doing to Bella. I'm not sure how I'd feel if I were him.

5. Edward now feels that the creature is now a child. Why does hearing the baby’s thoughts change Edward’s assessment of the situation? At first he was scared & didn't know what they baby would be or how it would act. After hearing her thoughts he knows that the baby loves Bella and wouldn't hurt her on purpose. Plus I think he starting to see it as his & Bella's baby and what a miracle (so to speak) it is that he would be able to have a child w/the woman he loves.

1 We get a much closer look at Leah in this chapter. After the discussion between Jacob and Leah, do you have a different understanding of her? What is your opinion of her, has it changed? If so, how?
It gave me an increased understanding for her behavior. What happened with Sam was very painful. Imprinting took away the love they had, and she even had to be in the same pack as him. She saw him and Emily in his mind. So I can understand that it was very diffcult for her. So not a change of opinion, but more understanding.

2. What do you think about the future plans that Jacob, Leah and Seth have discussed? Do you feel that the tribe will let them both go? Do you feel that Seth will stay?
I think that Seth would stay for his mothers sake, and to finish high school. But maybe he would leave after. Leah would probably go off to college. She wouldn't go back. I think that Sam would at least let Leah go. That would be fair. Not sure about Seth. But if Seth really wanted to go, I think Sam would have let him.

3. Do you agree with Leah’s assessment in that she is a genetic dead-end? If Leah is able to stop shifting, will her menopausal state end? What are your theories about Leah possibly imprinting?
At that point she was a genetic dead-end, since she was menopausal. But I guess it's possible that she would be able to have children after she stops shifting. Hard to say..I don't know anything about the werewolf physiology... I doubt that Leah would imprint, but I would have wanted her to find happiness.

4. What do you think about Jacob’s feelings of betrayal towards Edward, is it justified? How would you feel if you were in Jacob’s shoes?
Jacob felt that everyone was supporting the thing that was killing Bella. He and Edward used to be on the same side, so he feels betrayed when Edward starts to believe that they should continue the pregnancy. But I don't think Jacob had a right to feel betrayed by Edward. It was his baby, and Edward had every right to love it. I would have felt powerless if I were in Jacob's shoes, but he just had to accept that this was something between Bella and Edward.

5. Edward now feels that the creature is now a child. Why does hearing the baby’s thoughts change Edward’s assessment of the situation?
He hears that the baby loves Bella, and that she will do whatever she can not to hurt her mother. And he connects with the baby. He hears that he baby loves his voice. So this is the first time he connects with the baby. Edward is starting to realize that he's going to be a dad.

1 We get a much closer look at Leah in this chapter. After the discussion between Jacob and Leah, do you have a different understanding of her? What is your opinion of her, has it changed? If so, how?

The conversation gave her character a lot of depth, and since I already liked Leah as a character I loved that. My opinion of her just probably got stronger.

2. What do you think about the future plans that Jacob, Leah and Seth have discussed? Do you feel that the tribe will let them both go? Do you feel that Seth will stay?

To me it seemed like Jacob and Leah's future was going to be together and that they were eventually going to be something more than friends. Granted, that's not what happened, but at the time I remember thinking, "OMG, they're so cute!" Sam let Jacob go once, so I think he'd be willing to let him go again, especially considering that Jacob is now his competition. A lot of the pack would be happy to see Leah go, and I'm debating about Sam. I kind of think he might have tried to force her to stay or something...I don't know why. And Seth would've stayed, definetly, he would've been there to help his mom, his tribe, and the Cullens.

3. Do you agree with Leah’s assessment in that she is a genetic dead-end? If Leah is able to stop shifting, will her menopausal state end? What are your theories about Leah possibly imprinting?

I think the reason Leah's the first female werewolf is the same reason their werewolf pack is so big and Jacob being a second alpha: A lot of vampires means that there's a lot of triggers, and if they're taking permanent residence than the triggers will get worse. Eventually they'd run out of potential males, and if they needed a bigger pack it'd make sense for females to join as well.

I do believe that if Leah stops shape-shifting she'll be able to have children, she's frozen in time just like the vampires, if she allows herself to age she should be fine. It was interesting seeing her worrying about this aspect of life though...I'd never imagined her as the type to really want children. Yes, she probably thought of it as a future with Sam, but I didn't think the idea was as important to her as it ended up being. As I said, it was interesting.

Imprinting wise, I think Leah could, theoretically, but she'd be happy either way. I think she might be a little tired of imprinting at the moment with Sam and all. :D

4. What do you think about Jacob’s feelings of betrayal towards Edward, is it justified? How would you feel if you were in Jacob’s shoes?

Jacob and Edward had united over their desire to save Bella's life. Jacob at this point still sees the child as something that will kill Bella, which he doesn't want, and Edward hearing its thoughts to him must've seen like he was choosing the child over Bella, and thus, the child over her life.

Um, how would I feel...I can't place myself in this situation. I'd need the situation to be something that could happen in real life, and a lot of factors would have to change in order for this to be true. I can try replacing the baby with one that grows normally and the harm to Bella being, say, the fact that it was the child of a rapist, but...I just can't imagine it very well...

5. Edward now feels that the creature is now a child. Why does hearing the baby’s thoughts change Edward’s assessment of the situation?

Because it has a conscience, simple as that. Thinking suggests intelligence of some sort and comprehension, both of which are qualities of something that's very much alive and human. (Well, human-ish.) For a moment, he probably forgot about the fact that the child could very well kill Bella and just let himself be in awe over the fact that he was going to be a father.

1 We get a much closer look at Leah in this chapter. After the discussion between Jacob and Leah, do you have a different understanding of her? What is your opinion of her, has it changed? If so, how?
The conversation made her more real. I didn't really hate her in the first place, but this made her a little more likeable, I suppose.

2. What do you think about the future plans that Jacob, Leah and Seth have discussed? Do you feel that the tribe will let them both go? Do you feel that Seth will stay?
I think that Seth would go, but maybe go back to be with his mother, finish school, the norm. Leah wouldn't go back, I don't think. I think Sam let them go once, he'd let them go again.

3. Do you agree with Leah’s assessment in that she is a genetic dead-end? If Leah is able to stop shifting, will her menopausal state end? What are your theories about Leah possibly imprinting?
I don't know, really... at that point, I guess she was at a dead end, but who knows what would happen after she stopped shifting? She could go back to being her regular young human being self.... but then again, no, because things like that generally don't just start back up again after being shut down. I don't know, but if she is a genetic dead end from here on out, I know I feel sorry for her. Poor Leah.

4. What do you think about Jacob’s feelings of betrayal towards Edward, is it justified? How would you feel if you were in Jacob’s shoes?
I probably would. From the outsider's perspective, I think Edward's change of heart is completely normal and lovely, but from Jake's.. Edward was really the only person who agreed with him completely that the baby should not live. And when Edward changes his mind, it's like a stab in the back, and I understand that.

5. Edward now feels that the creature is now a child. Why does hearing the baby’s thoughts change Edward’s assessment of the situation?
Well... it's a person now. The baby is a real thinking, feeling person. And she loves Bella, and she loves Edward, and she doesn't mean to hurt her mother. He connects... this is his, oh my god, I'm a father moment. Women become mothers when they learn they're pregnant... men beome fathers when hey first see they're child... this was the first time Edward saw Renesmee.

1 We get a much closer look at Leah in this chapter. After the discussion between Jacob and Leah, do you have a different understanding of her? What is your opinion of her, has it changed? If so, how?
I didn't really like Leah through most of the book because she was so mean. But, after reading about why she is so defensive and what is going on in her life I like hera little better. I still think she needs to be less mean and see that maybe the Cullens and Jacob, for that matter, aren't so bad.

2. What do you think about the future plans that Jacob, Leah and Seth have discussed? Do you feel that the tribe will let them both go? Do you feel that Seth will stay?
The tribe may not want both of them to go, but they can't reall stop them from leaving either. If they need and want to be on their own, yet stay connected, then that is what they should do. If they are happier like that, then why would anyone want to stop them? As for Seth, I don't believe he would want to stay behind. He'd probably want to tag along with Jacob and keep an eye on Leah. But, because he is so young and he probably wouldn't want to leave his mother alone he'd probably spendmore time at home than the other two.

3. Do you agree with Leah’s assessment in that she is a genetic dead-end? If Leah is able to stop shifting, will her menopausal state end? What are your theories about Leah possibly imprinting?
Well I don't see why it wouldn't be possible for Leah to imprint. The boys are able to, so why shouldn't she be able to? As for her being a genetic dead-end...that is a difficult question. There are stories of women who have been menopausal and miraculously get pregnant, then they continue normally. So it's probably unlikely that she will every have her own kids, but it's not impossible...and that is assuming things work the same way for shape shifters.

4. What do you think about Jacob’s feelings of betrayal towards Edward, is it justified? How would you feel if you were in Jacob’s shoes?
I don't really blame Jacob for feeling that Edward betrayed him. Edward wanted nothing to do with the baby when he couldn't hear it's thoughts and his only goal was to keep Bella alive, just like Jacob. Edward was able to connect with the baby and Jacob can't do that so he is unable to understand why Edward changed his mind; in that sense Jacob is justified. I'd probably feel exactly the same way Jake does. He loves Bella and is only interested in saving her; he can't understand why Edward is willing to risk Bella for the baby that is killing her.

5. Edward now feels that the creature is now a child. Why does hearing the baby’s thoughts change Edward’s assessment of the situation?
Knowing that the baby is capable of love, and the child isn't hurting Bella on purpose changes how he feels. I also think he feels a connection to the baby because the baby has shown love for him too. That feeling was probably a very strong one, and that makes him realize the baby will be a good thing and he loved her in return.

1 We get a much closer look at Leah in this chapter. After the discussion between Jacob and Leah, do you have a different understanding of her? What is your opinion of her, has it changed? If so, how?
Still think she was a complete witch for how she handled some of the things life handed her. But at the same time she handled it the only way she felt she could. After the talk it was easier to understand the way she acted, because, like I said, it was the only way she knew how.

2. What do you think about the future plans that Jacob, Leah and Seth have discussed? Do you feel that the tribe will let them both go? Do you feel that Seth will stay?

The tribe doesn't have much control over them considering that they no longer participate in the tribe's wolf pack. Since they know who they are, the tribe also knows that they can't stop the three of them from seeing their families without proper ground. I do think that Seth would stay with his mom for a bit after everything is said and done, and then would leave.

3. Do you agree with Leah’s assessment in that she is a genetic dead-end? If Leah is able to stop shifting, will her menopausal state end? What are your theories about Leah possibly imprinting?
With her unpredictable changing habits, it is hard to tell if she would ever be able to reproduce. If she stopped changing it could go one of two ways, she could have children or she couldn't. And with said changing habits, I do think her dead end theory is kinda spot on. She might be able to change, but the fetus wouldn't be able to.

4. What do you think about Jacob’s feelings of betrayal towards Edward, is it justified? How would you feel if you were in Jacob’s shoes?
I think Jake too it too much to his heart. To an extent, yeah I do think that it was justified because it was killing the woman that both loved, but at the same time, this was Edward's child, and that wasn't something that Jake would understand. Hearing its thoughts showed Edward what he needed to accept it.

I'd be upset too that if someone I thought was on my side suddenly switched.

5. Edward now feels that the creature is now a child. Why does hearing the baby’s thoughts change Edward’s assessment of the situation?

Because he learns that the child doesn't mean to hurt Bella in any way, and that the child loves Bella as much as she loves it.

1. We get a much closer look at Leah in this chapter. After the discussion between Jacob and Leah, do you have a different understanding of her? What is your opinion of her, has it changed? If so, how?

Leah is the best and most realistic in the series. I highly doubt that anyone who went through everything that she did would have won a Miss Congeniality award. She is tough and independent, and in my opinion, a way better role model for girls than Bella. She doesn't have to like the vampires. They essentially ruined her life.

2. What do you think about the future plans that Jacob, Leah and Seth have discussed? Do you feel that the tribe will let them both go? Do you feel that Seth will stay?

Seth wouldn't have been in the pack. Leah would have made him go home and finish high school.

As for Jacob and Leah, I honestly thought (and hoped) that they would have hooked up. They were both in pain because the person they love is with someone else. They would have helped each other get over their heartbreak and fallen in love in the process.

I have a wild theroy-- Sam is still in love with Leah. I have a hard time believing he can just fall out of love with her just because he imprinted. Their love was so true and pure, and not the result of magic, that is was able to withstand the imprint. It's not as strong as the imprint, but it's still there. When she left Sam was truly heartbroken. She had been a part of his life for so long. Not having her there and then knowing she was off near vampires really hurt him. I think he would try his hardest to get her back, but she would leave and go off on her own.

3. Do you agree with Leah’s assessment in that she is a genetic dead-end? If Leah is able to stop shifting, will her menopausal state end? What are your theories about Leah possibly imprinting?

I don't know about that. Part of me says yes and part of me says no. Unless we know why she started phasing, I don't think we can answer that question.

I really really really really hope she doesn't imprint. I will be pissed if she does. She has had her heart ripped out of her chest and stomped on (not once, twice) by imprinting. It will just add insult to injury. I want her to find real love, not magical love.

4. What do you think about Jacob’s feelings of betrayal towards Edward, is it justified? How would you feel if you were in Jacob’s shoes?

Yes it's totally justified. I'd feel the same way.

5. Edward now feels that the creature is now a child. Why does hearing the baby’s thoughts change Edward’s assessment of the situation?

He can now hear what it thinks.

1 We get a much closer look at Leah in this chapter. After the discussion between Jacob and Leah, do you have a different understanding of her? What is your opinion of her, has it changed? If so, how?
I think that we can understand why :eah does what she does. I stil think she culd be better especially when it goes back to Bella's perspective. I think Leah is going to move on now and finally has someone really truly know what's going on. i think she finally has someone to talk to who actually listens and cares a ittle bit.

2. What do you think about the future plans that Jacob, Leah and Seth have discussed? Do you feel that the tribe will let them both go? Do you feel that Seth will stay?
Seth is definetly going back home to his mother. He does always have a crusade and has to beo ne of the most helpful and trustiong people. Leah is definetly going into meditation. She is just the type of person who wuld enjoy yoga and might actually start givig classes to help other people. jacob i was unsure about. i thught he might go back to say goodby once more to his dad and then might end up in the forests of alaska or canda again.

The tribe wil definetly let them go because they do not own that pack anymore. Seth will be welcomed back because he is so young and they think of him as a child. They shouldnt think of him that way of course because he is way more mature than some of the older pack members. Seth owuld stay to help out his mother and also because he knows its where he truly belongs its his placei n the world.

3. Do you agree with Leah’s assessment in that she is a genetic dead-end? If Leah is able to stop shifting, will her menopausal state end? What are your theories about Leah possibly imprinting?
i do not think Leah is a deadend. She said that Seth wuld have the next claim because of his stelar blood lines. Leah has the exact same blood libnes so she would make a great wolf. She does end up being a beta so she could easily make an alpha if jacob and sma did not have better genes. Its just because she cannot change that she is a dead end.

when she stops shoot( she is going for yoga and meditation so she wuld defintly get into a better state of mind) things owul pick back up again of course. its only temporary. But as for imprinting i think the question is can a shapeshifter imprint after they give up the wolf inside them. If so then yes Leah will imprint as long as she sees the person. it would make it easier because that is wahat imprinting is for. She could not carry on the gene while she is a wolf so therefore she would not imprint. If after she gives it up that she can imprint then yes she will be able to carry on the gene so she would imprint on somebody.

4. What do you think about Jacob’s feelings of betrayal towards Edward, is it justified? How would you feel if you were in Jacob’s shoes?
I thnik jacob was overconfindent in himself that edward would not let the child survive. I would feel like i was betrayed but then a again i would not have gotten so overconfident,. Its not justified because it was out of shock. he should have expected that sometie after the child was born that edward would it because bella loved it. jaob knows that the only reason edward hast tried to kill him, because he knows bella loves him.

5. Edward now feels that the creature is now a child. Why does hearing the baby’s thoughts change Edward’s assessment of the situation?
It ws only the fact that the creature loves bella. he is not afraid anymore that the child wants to hurt bella. if it did then he would try to kill it as soon as possible. nmow that he realize it loves bella he cant want any harm to come upon it. Like i said above he cant hurt anything that loves bella.
