Hi everyone, let me introduce myself.

The first question (how I picked my screen name) is easy to answer. I am a chocolate lover, and Valrhona is my favorite brand.

I heard of Twilight for the first time when the movie hit theaters last Fall. I did not pay any attention to it at the time. I remember my husband telling me it was the story of a teenage girl falling in love with a vampire and then being dumped by him, and falling for another boy that turned out to be a werewolf. It was not enough to get me interested. What can I say, as long as you don't get to read a book, you don't know what you are missing, right ? But a couple of months later, in May, my husband came back home from a trip with gifts for our 3 kids and for me. It was the now familiar book with an apple on the cover, that I had seen time and again during my numerous visits at Target. So even if I never had the impulse of buying the book, now that it had been given to me, I might as well give it a try...So I did, without knowing how addictive it would become. I was so hooked by the story that I had to order the 3 other volumes of the saga before I was done with the first one. I just couldn't wait to know what was going to happen to Bella. And I was glad that the saga was complete, because, heck, I would have died if I had had to wait one year after the other, like the first readers had to. So one month after I had started Twilight, I turned the last page of Breaking Dawn. And I had been obsessed with the vampire saga ever since.
I don't really have a favorite book in the series, they are all great for different reasons. But it is true that I can't stop myself to read the whole trip to Italy and back part over and over again, so I guess that New Moon is somehow special for me.

My favorite character is Edward, of course. Because I see him through Bella's eyes, and since she is madly in love with him, so am I. And also because I do not relate much to Bella. A girl who doesn't like to be manicured and pedicured ? Come on! is it even possible ? (lol)

If we consider everyone apart from Bella, Edward and Jacob as minor characters, than Alice would be the one I prefer.

What do I do when I don't have my mind filled up with vampires and werewolves adventures ? I read other stories (or I try), I watch a lot of t.v., I visit museums, cook, go to the movies and volunteer at my kids school.

I live in New Jersey, and I am a Twilight mom.
Oh! I almost forgot to say that I went to Forks 2 months ago...

Thank you all for your comments. I actually became aware of the Twilight Lexicon via Stephenie website. Yep!, no secrets there left for me, I read all the extras, facts and outtakes, and the Midnight Sun draft, of course. See you around. And I will go get a look at the threads made for older people like me (lol)! And also I hope you don't mind my spelling mistakes, it's because I speak french as my first language.
