Would it be possible to put an apostrophe in my username?

When I signed up for my account, I don't think apostrophes were allowed, but as I confess that I am too pedantic in regards to grammar, Jacobs-girl without an apostrophe is irritating me. Is it possible to change it to Jacob's-girl?
Thanks. :)

Hmmm. I'll double-check with 24601, our Great Panjandrum of all things technical, but as far as I can make out, the system won't let us create usernames with apostrophes in them. Sorry about that -- I share your pain!

What about switching to Jacob-girl? (You know: like wolf-man or teapot). I grant you, it's a little infelicitous, but at least it's not out and out ungrammatical.

Sorry, using anything other than basic characters (letters, numbers and 'spacers' -- spacers are: space, -, +, _, [ and ].)

Other characters can really wreak havoc with the database.

Comparing me to a nonsensical term coined by Samuel Foote or the failed British WWII explosive experiment?

Careful, either answer is equally dangerous....

the failed British WWII explosive experiment

Ha! I didn't know about this one....

(And yes, I'm always very careful around anything potentially explosive).

Thanks for checking but it's okay, I'll stick with Jacobs-girl for now. I'll just have to tell my inner grammar pedant to be quiet. :D
