Re: Twilight Saga Q&A
I have yet another question. :/
I've never fully understood what this means:
"He leaned over to kiss the top of my head, then groaned. i looked at him puzzled.
"You smell so good in the rain," he explained.
"In a good way, or a bad way?" I asked cautiously.
He sighed. "Both always both."
Can someone explain what Edward means by that? Like she smells really tasty, but he doesn't want to eat her? How is that a good thing?

Bella smells good to Edward in the "good" way of he simply likes her scent (flower-y, he said it was) but also in the "bad" way because her blood smells good to him.dazzle_me-xx wrote:I have yet another question. :/

QUESTION: ok so in TWILIGHT when the cullens are playing "base ball" what are they using for a ball? because first bella thinks something like: "it looked like alice and (i can't remember) were throwing something back and forth, but i never saw any ball."

Re: Twilight Saga Q&A
Thats a good question. I'm not sure that it specifies in the book, maybe in an interview with SM or a persona correspondence. You wouldn't think a normal baseball could with stand that type of force.

I took that to mean that the ball was moving soooo fast that she couldn't see it. *shrugs*ilovetwilight wrote:QUESTION: ok so in TWILIGHT when the cullens are playing "base ball" what are they using for a ball? because first bella thinks something like: "it looked like alice and (i can't remember) were throwing something back and forth, but i never saw any ball."

Re: Twilight Saga Q&A
I always assumed it was a baseball. That and the bat would have to be a normal bat right? Maybe they were throwing it fast, but not with a ton of force....because if they did, what normal ball and bat could withstand that? Besides, they don't really make vampire versions of those.ilovetwilight wrote:that's what i thought at first but, then wouldn't the ball get like destroyed when emmett hit it? lol

Well for those of you who have read Midnight Sun, you know that Edward and Carlisle had to adapt Alice's computer so that a vampire coud use the touch screen...maybe between the two of them they created some sort of "bionic ball"
Just a theory
