Re: Twilight Saga Q&A #2
They always exsisted, they aren't sure how they came to be - other than their own creation - But Edward ask Bella, in so many words (i'm slightly paraphrasing) 'is it so hard to think that the same God who made the baby seal and the killer whale together didn't make you and me?' This was in the first book.Simon_Belmont wrote:How were vampires first created in Twilight? Have they always existed in our universe?
Did Jacob Black always have feelings for Bella, or was it something that grew over time?
Where are the other vampires in all of this? Are they spread out worldwide or are they just a 'strain' in the pacific northwest?
Where are the vampire hunters in all of this?
I heard a rumor that Edward Cullen is really Alucard- do you think Stephanie will revisit the story of Count Dracula?
What is a man?
World Wide - Their numbers are insignificant compaired to the human race - they don't exactly proliferate the way we do - They're spread out all over the world, Italy, Mexico, Brazil, Ireland, Egypt, New Jersey (lol) this is covered in the first book as well, but covered slightly deeper in the other books, espesically Eclipse, where they not only talk about the Volturi, but also Jaspers time in Mexico and Breaking Dawn where they actually go looking for other Vampires. Vampires who live like the Cullens, and interact with the human race, or just like to be out during the day tend to flock towards the north east, because of the weather - less sunny days and all.
I was going to say there isn't any Vampire Hunters in this story, but I'd almost be lying. Outside of Forks, in La Push there are ALOT of Shapeshifters/Werewolves that thrive on the chance to take apart rogue Vampires. This is covered in New Moon and up. Normal human vampire hunters don't exsist. no Van Helsing in this story, sorry!
you got me on the last two... lol so here's my take.. XD
No, the only bat in the belfry that MIGHT fit Alucard's discription would be Alister in Breaking Dawn... lol... that dude was weird.
A man is the answer, not the question... XD The opposite of a female? three letters thrown together to make up the illusion of a masculine figure head in society?

Was this Alucard mentioned in "Breaking Dawn"? Where did the rumor that Edward's Alucard come from?BrandOfHeroine wrote:Wow, I didn´t notice. Hmm....guess I learn something new every day. LOLAliceLuvsEdward wrote:Alucard is Dracula backwards lol

I haven't heard of a rumor that Edward is Alucard. Alucard is, as stated above, Dracula spelled backwards. It's the name of the main vampire in the anime Hellsing and also the name of the main vampire in the Castlevania games. Both of those characters are related to Dracula in some way in their respective stories.

Re: Twilight Saga Q&A #2
I have a question - one that I thought was fairly obvious - yet I can not find an answer... I read the books, then checked out the website. While I was reading the Q&A section for Breaking Dawn and Stephenie was describing how it was possible for Edward and Bella to become pregnant, it occurred to me that not only should Bella never have been able to get pregnant - he never should have been able to kiss her in the first place. The way Stephenie explained it on the website, technically his "saliva" is fatally poisonous. Now, if you're a bit older, then you know you can't quite kiss someone with any kind of passion without swapping a little spit. So was it an oops moment on Stephenie's part for going into that much detail on the Q&A's, or could there be some explanation as to how all those kisses didn't turn her into a vampire MUCH sooner?

Well, I believe that she said it's only dangerous if the saliva gets into her blood stream.AugLeo04 wrote:I have a question - one that I thought was fairly obvious - yet I can not find an answer... That's why he's so careful not to cut her mouth with his razor-sharp teeth.
It says it somewhere. . . .
Edit: Yes here it is. . . .
Does Bella ingest the venom when she kisses Edward?
Stephenie Meyer has clearly stated that the venom has no effect on the human body unless it gets into the bloodstream. Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward's kisses are fairly chaste; they do not "French" kiss. Edward is extremely careful not to cut Bella with his incredibly sharp teeth or the venom would get into her bloodstream.

It also says that it's not as dangerous as getting bit. And the poison has to enter the bloodstream so as long as she doesn't have a cut in her mouth etc she won't get turned.AugLeo04 wrote:I have a question - one that I thought was fairly obvious - yet I can not find an answer... Yeah, I agree. They can kiss, but the dangerous part is Edward getting carried away and biting her.
