Deb – You will defo get to see Placebo in Greece cos I know you would have aced your exams! I’m really glad you are getting to finally see them after waiting so long! I actually really like “Song to Say Goodbye” (and “Infra-red” and “Follow the Cops Back Home”), so I do like the album, but I guess I didn’t just get into it as much as the others You’ll have to remember and tell me what you think when you see them live!
Is your cousin also from Greece? Is he learning German at school, and that’s why your are helping him? I took German in high school but I only remember the very basics!

Mel – I hope you manage to get everything sorted out with the council!

I think I might watch the clip you guys are talking about when I get home. So that when I see it in the cinema I am prepared and don’t get all mad/sad

Don't get me wrong, MR does a better job then I could as I wouldn't be able to miss big lumps out other then dog scenes, but if I did the movie wouldn't make sense
I just think maybe there hasn't been enough communication between parties about storyline or something. I think that if it were my book being adapted ( and I guess that's the crucial word here) I'd be very protective towards my characters, and them being portrayed as they were inteded to come across.

Hopefully the council issue will be easier to deal with then I thought. It appears that my neighbour with all the info from the parish council has also recieved a letter and is fighting mad like I am, so I have a contancerous chap on my side , I don't think much will be able to get passed him

Work time for me, so hopefully I'll catch up with you all in a bit

Yep, soooo, it's Wednesday and my boss and our assistant director are both gone for the rest of the week. Ach, actual productivity is going to be a struggle.

Susie~ I know, I know. I’m going to give myself a stroke before June 29th even gets here. My hubs tries to tell me not to check the photos and watch the clips. But, I can’t not. It’s actually better for me to watch. It helps prepare me. This way, I don’t have such a reaction in the theater. I still have hope for the full movie. Honestly, I’m holding on to Alphie’s words in her review like my life depends on it right now. Sad, I know, that a movie has this kind of effect on me. But, I just go with it.

Desiree~ There was some behind the scenes vids from the MTVMAs where the guy asked Rob about his impressions of Eclipse. But, I was taking his words out of context for effect. His comment was addressing the darker tone and nature of the movie. I just happen to think his words are going to take a different meaning for some of us.

Marielle~ Yep, Susie has me pretty well down. What can I say, I have to have my happy place with me to travel. And Twilight/Rob is my happy place.

Mel~ I’m sorry you are having a rough day. I get it completely, believe me. Just find a quiet place and try to calm your mind. Maybe focusing on this will help. We’re here for you, love.

AnnMarie~ At this point, I’m half expecting the wedding to take all of 5 seconds, but the Bella/Jacob dance/discussion will be 10 minutes of poor pitiful Jacob begging for Bella not to kill herself and blah blah blah. We’ll get every minute detail of Jacob’s book but Bella’s books will be 15 minutes of memories or some crap like that. Thank gods they at least brought on another director who is also a very accomplished screenwriter. It kind of gives me hope.

I'm back from cleaning up the computer...

Ok, so I am really, really trying not to watch the remainder of the clips coming out before I go see the movie. I'm also trying not to look at any more of the stills coming out--I know, I know, I'm weak and I'll probably cave, but I really want to be surprised at some of the movie when I see it.
And by surprised, I mean surprised in a good way--not in the way of the last clip when B takes off with J in front of E. My blood starts to boil every time I think about the clip and, how once again, MR takes liberties with the characters and changes the entire context of a scene (i.e. The Meadow-or lack thereof..) ...

I'm heading out to entertain the kids....then getting ready for my Blackhawks-if they win tonight they win the Stanley Cup-WOOHOO!!

I'm still alive! That is the longest I've ever been absent! Over 3 weeks.

60 something pages that I've missed is just far too much for me to play catch up on. Random comments ahead.

I ♥ Rob. I ♥ Kristen. And I ♥♥♥♥♥ them together.
MTV Awards. Great! Should have just been named The Twilight Awards. PFach made me laugh so much. And I love Rob's sneaky ninja attack on Kristen.

Eclipse Soundtrack. I've been obsessively listening to it all week and I think it is great. I prefer most of the songs on the first half of the album. Have you guys had any thoughts on where you think the songs will be placed in the movie?

I haven't read the Bree book yet, have mixed views on it, so, I don't know.

The main reason for my absence was work. May was an Epic Fail month for me. Out of the whole month of May I had 5 days off. It sucked big time. I was able to keep in touch with my Tweety Birds cause its just much quicker and easier to tweet. I was saying hi through them a few times so I hope they passed it on ... I was thinking of you girls. I haven't even seen my RL friends in weeks! I'm hoping June gets better. (Although my Nan ended up in hosp again last week, we're hoping she'll be out before the weekend. So it hasn't started great. Positive thoughts though! )
