I have also read the house of night novels, 2 of the circle trilogy by nora roberts, 2 vampire academy novels, the night world vol 1 by lj smith, Vampire diaries LJ smith...I am a vamp addict.
Welcome oh well-read one... :D The peach cobbler is in reference to the "peaches" comment by Wrath in the first book, Dark Lover. Think about it. You'll remember. Oh and Rhage...he's mine.

Ok, if you're as into vampires as you say, you wouldn't be referring to your hubby as DH. Everyone here know that references the Dark Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon. Thankfully, blissfully this series has several books in it. I just finished #6, GNE just finished #7 and I'm not sure where Nena is at this point. I don't think Mortal Instruments, Millionaire Vamp series, or Southern Vamps were on your list. The other series we're in love with that's in the paranormal, but not vampire realm is the Psy/Changling series by Nalini Singh.

Glad you found us and are ready to play!

ETA: I have not blessed you with a PSD today...I give you whole video of Dark Hunter Hip Dents (Warning: cheesy music :? )

Pornstache. LOL, I love that Nena! Billy was terrific. He cracked me up when he told Bella that he put another can of mase in her purse right before she leaves with Edward for the prom. I was also on the floor laughing when told Tyler that he was in big trouble at the hospital.

I just think that it's weird that the humans from the movie were more developed than the main characters. Maybe because we, as readers and movie viewers, can easily identify with the humans in the book. I just thought the Cullens were so stiff and wooden, which again is very strange considering there is so much more material about the Cullens in the book. I would've thought it would be a lot easier to bring the Cullens to life.

I wished they would've included the three guys Tyler asking if she would go out with her and then have Edward's car stalling so he could see it all happen. Or the part where Tyler calls and Edward tells him that Bella is alreay has a date and will be busy indefinitely. I really missed that part!

A very warm welcome to inspired's hubby! Glad to have another male in the Gutter. Dhirrty, I know. Welcome, stupidlamb85. Hope you enjoy your time here as much as we do!

I think you hit the nail on the head. I completely agree, although in hindsight, I guess we knew that it would be nearly impossible to portray what was other-worldly through actors that were "only human." SM kinda said as much during all the uproar over Edward's casting.

Pornstache...*shakes head and rolls her eyes* Nena, you make my life complete. ;)

I can understand that point too, N'mama, which is why I think it's important to keep the background story to the Cullens. The background story fills in the void and allows the reader to see how the character was developed not only in their historical context but see how their personality is carried over the centuries. I was really sad when they took out Carlisle's story. As you all know, I was really ticked when they chose Peter but I got over it and thought if they gave him more to work with, he would have a good shot. Instead, I felt cold towards him and didn't get to know him.

I hope you know that giving you grief just means you've been accepted and welcomed. :D Now you have to come up with a cute name or letters for your hubby. Mine actually has an account here as Toyotapapa (to compliment my nissanmama) but that takes too long to type so we refer to him by his rapper name T-pa. ;) My kids are FS=Footall Stud, MG=Mystery Girl, and LG=Little Guy.

I knew you were teasing...or at least hoped you were lol. hmmm nicknames for hubby?? I will have to think on that! I just got a phone call from him he is ecstatic before I could say hi he blurted out EDWARDS BACK!!! Then he began to argue with a male coworker about how amazing the books were and how nobody could read them and hate them. When said coworker claimed he didn't read my hubby said well at least see the movie it was awesome. I was sitting on the phone giggling at how passionate he has become about a book/movie he had no interest in a month ago. lol

Welcome StupidLamb85

First of all, thanks for the video Nima. Secondly, I'm in Rhages world right now and I'm sure I didn't see you there. So you know what they say about mice and all being away.

Pornstahe. I love it. i do like Billy Burke but I also kind of wish they would have picked Jeffrey Dean Morgan. I'd just like to curl up on his chest.

I figured out why I wouldn't mind being team swiss today. I could have Jacob to keep me warm in the winter and Edward to cool me off in the summer. Kind of like having a vacation house.

You know, I can't find the second book to the Dark Hunter series. It's not at the library and they don't have it on the shelves at B&N. Do you have to read them in order?
