What are you reading?

[Soul&Romance]

I'm just starting Beloved for my American Literary Traditions class. I finished a short story by William Faulkner called The Bear this afternoon and it was insanely complex but still interesting.

I'm thinking of starting a "for leisure" book to help ease the pain of all of my assigned readings for class. Any suggestions? I'm pretty much a literary junkie, so I can get into anything. =)

I just started City of Glass today! I'm excited to read it! but I don't want to eitehr because it's the last one in the series - You all know what I mean about not wanting to read someting because then it's over?

I'm reading Candy by Kevin Brooks. its not bad. I'm also reading The Host for the 3rd time, along with a bunch of fanfics, and Night by Elie Weisel, which is for school.

What is the City of Glass about and who is the Author?

I have been reading The Dark Hunter Series by Sherrrilyn Kenyon, a series by Maria V. Snyder Poison Study, Magic Study, and Fire Study. Also Christine Feehan Lynn Kurland Nine Kingdoms series, Lauren Willig The secret History Of The Pink Carnation. I have been reading bits and pieces of the Twilight Saga and also the Host too.

I finished Frostbite and I really loved it -- it's in the Vampire Academy series, and now I'm starting Shadowkiss which is the next book. It's extremely addicting and well-written. Does anyone know when the next book comes out in that series??

What is the City of Glass about and who is the Author?

City of Glass is the third and final book in the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare. They are - what's it called - urban fantasy or something, set in New York where shadow-hunters roam the streets. It has werewolves, vampires, that sort of thing and I highly recommend it! Be warned though: reading it can lead to infatuation, especially with Jace <3 <3 <3
