Sad news to all us 30 somethings. John Hughes, the director behind Sixteen Candles and Farris Bueller's Day Off has passed away.

That is truly sad, Una I loved John Hughes movies when I was growing up. In fact this spring we had a 80's movie marathon at my house and I think all the movies were his Pretty in Pink, Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles. He will be sorely missed!
