Re: Renee Dwyer

Something just occurred to me that hadn't occurred to me before. Renee is easily misdirected. We see Bella do it to her in Eclipse, and even Bella is a little dismayed by how easy it is to do. I'm sure the Cullens, especially Carlisle, who is so reassuring and confident, can misdirect Renee for a lo...

Re: Sam Uley

At the end of BD, what do you guys think will happen to the pack. Do you think that Sam will try to get Leah and the others back somehow, under his leadership? We know the Cullens aren't leaving and with Jacob's connection to Renesmee, he'll be staying around. How will it be to have two alphas in t...

Re: New Moon Extras

Many moons ago on this forum, Jazz Girl and I discussed writing the section of New Moon where Edward is away from Bella as a fanfic. I wrote what I could, asked Jazz Girl to edit it, and posted it here: http://login.fanfiction.net/story/story_preview.php?storyid=5513958&chapter=1 I felt it appro...

Re: Edward Cullen #5

New question (and there probably isn't an answer just opinions), we know Edward went to college multiple times and has a few medical degrees but I wonder why he never went to Julliard or somewhere like that since he obviously loves playing the piano so much and is good enough to compose his own stu...

Re: Edward Cullen #4

I'm not disagreeing with the forum wisdom that Edward and Bella reached a very happy ending at the end of Breaking Dawn. Do they harbor regrets about the way things turned out? No, I don't think they do. Even Edward, and he's prone to being hard on himself. However, I do think that they would have b...

Re: Edward Cullen #4

As I pondered your response, it occurred to me that not only Bella, but Edward got everything he wished for by the end of Breaking Dawn. Breaking Dawn was a good ending - I would not debate that. But I think that Edward didn't get quite everything that he could have wished for. He was still a vampi...

Re: Edward Cullen #4

I think you're spot on about Edward's interest in Volturi capabilities--even during Twilight; however Midnight Sun does not mention any research done by him. I speculate that Edward felt if the family did nothing to attract attention to themselves, they/he would have quite a while--if not forever--...

Re: Edward Cullen #4

Edward knows the vampire rules and laws, such that they are, as determined by the Volturi. From the moment of his conversation with Bella driving home from Port Angeles, he knows that according to those laws, her life is forfeit. She knows their secret, so therefore, the vampire world has a duty to ...

Re: Edward Cullen #4

Edward has his dark side, definitely. Much of that changes as he journeys from Twilight through Breaking Dawn. In what ways does Edward's darker side lighten? I'm going to leave out the part of Breaking Dawn after Renesmee is born and Bella has been changed, because I think that Edward's outlook ch...

Re: Edward Cullen #4

When he opens doors for her, presents her with other options, I think it is a loving and wonderful thing. But, when he makes the choice for her, takes her wishes out of the equation, that's what snaps my teeth together. I know it is a fine distinction. But, I think it is one worth making. Thank you...
