Re: Singers raise your voice.

I understand about the stage fright thing. One night I was performing for open mic and my duet partner just stopped playing after the first 3 bars of her original song, looked at me and told me to take a step back on the stage. I was PETRIFIED but the crowd laughed and it broke ALL the tension in th...

Re: Writers Central

Carrisa I'm sorry I can't be much help on the location thing. If it were about Georgia I could help. As for keeping everything in order, I realized from the get go I was going to have to have an outline. Not because of the story itself but because I tend to get ADD when I write. I'll be in the middl...

Re: Writers Central

When I did the character study the other day for my main characters it was like christmas morning to me. I'd never really thought of the freedom in creating someone exactly how you wanted them. Talk about fun... making them like certain things and having certain quirks... kind like playing Dr. Frank...

Re: Writers Central

I started with fan fiction on another site a long time ago. Then I came to the realization that I narrate my life in my head all the time and I have one healthy imagination to go along with it. So I started writing things (or typing as it were) down and keeping them on a zip drive. Alot of the time ...

Re: The Gutter Gals Thread--Innuendo thread for the "older" fan

I too enjoy reading the dating thread. I remember my first boyfriend. I was 14 and he was 16 I think. He had to go ask my father if he could date me and my big brother was one of his best friends at the time. My brother said he thought the poor guy was going to have a heart attack then because my fa...

Re: Hi, I'm Gimp... well I'm not gimp but my name is.

Two close friends and I are starting an "at home" bakery right now. Basically we just have one or two cakes a month to make. It's called Macon Cakes because that's the name of the town. Cheesetastic isn't it? :D We didn't get to eat it because people at work touched all over the thing b/f they reali...

Re: Writers Central

I used to write in a popcorn thread on another message board about 3 yrs ago and that was pretty awesome. Hearing other peoples ideas are very encouraging and productive for me. I had a very vivid day dream last week when I was trying to take a nap. It turned into a 4pg outline for a movie that I've...

Re: Singers raise your voice.

I'm traditionally an alto and am working on recording an album currently. Nothing big or fancy but I do perform for local events here. Most recent song I covered is Perhaps Perhaps Perhaps by Doris Day. You can hear it by going to myspace.com/erithcollinsworth. It's my music profile. I've recently g...

As for the temp of the situation when they first Baked in BD, I seemed to have convinced myself that they were in the warm ocean so it made them closer to each others temps. And not only that but remember in Twilight when he holds his cheek to her chest to hear her heart for the first time and when ...

Re: Twilight Street Names

There is, in fact, a Jasper, GA and it's in the northern part of the state. I remember seeing signs for it when I headed out on the AT. The AT starts in Dahlonega which is about 20miles to the east of Jasper.
