When you are translating the Aeneid and these thoughts come to mind:
1) You see "he [Aeneas] was dazzling..." and you think "OMG! Aeneas is a vampire!"
2) "a sword of Tawny Jasper" gets you thinking about a certain confederate soldier

OME, how did I completely miss that!

By the way, one of my friends now claims that I have ruined her life because she is going to devote herself to translating articles for the Latin wiki. Too bad she hates Twilight with a passion.
