Re: Writers Central
I finally decided to allow a few of my close friends read my manuscript, "The Wolf Prince." I've let people read screenplays I've written before, but never my beloved book. There is always this feeling of nervousness when doing such, because you obviously want them to love reading it as m...

Re: Writers Central
In terms of writing screenplays I use Final Draft 8 or Screenwriter 6. Screenwriter 6 is much more intuitive, but FD has a full fledge version that I can use via my iPad. I have Storyist on Ipad, and I like it, but as Apple hasn't released a version that is compatible with PC, it makes things a bit...

Re: Movie Review Time: I'm in the middle about Breaking Dawn
Much like many of my other fellow Twi-hards, I'm really feel like the final film is a mixed bag. Over all I loved it, but at the same time, felt sort of cheated... I've said this from the very beginning, one of the hardest parts about the Twilight book to screen adaptations, is that they tried to s...

Re: Writers Central
Well I FINALLy finished my epic werewolf/ vampire epic "Hour of Darkness" script. The "final" page tally for the screenplay stands at 123 pages, of which isn't too bad, considering the "ruff" (oh pun) draft ended at 135 pages, of which is way too large for a spec scrip...

Re: Writers Central
Thanks for the support Tornado. Writing is a hard job, no matter what people think or believe, but the rewards far outway the negative stuff!

Re: Writers Central
Okay people. Here's a link to my book trailer. Enjoy! Awesome trailer, Tornado!!! Loved it. It's been ages since I posted here last. Still trucking on. Just finished a "final" edit of Wolf Prince before I got it over to Harper-Collins Voyager. Don't know what they'll do, but we'll see. I ...

Re: Writers Central
Well I have yet another update... My friends agent has agreed to read my book. I had to create a resume, as well as standard query to go along with my book. My friend, as he works in Hollywood will be reviewing everything just to make sure it is perfect, before sending it off to my prospective agen...

Re: Writers Central
So lately I "think" I've turned into a writer. I have a story that I started writing for one of my college English classes at least four/five years ago and about a month ago for some reason I decided to pick it up again and start writing more of the story. I have some ideas but I don't ha...

Re: Breaking Dawn the Movie- I liked it!
I readily admit when I went to the theater I was incredibly skeptical about Breaking Dawn. I had a love/hate relationship with the book, and so I had no idea how they were going to make this movie work...but they did. While it isn't acadamy award material, I think all of the actors did a great job,...

Re: Writers Central
Well I've been incredibly busy of late. I managed to edit Wolf Prince down from its behemoth 120,000 word count, to a much more managible 90,000. What is even more amazing is that even though I removed a little over 30,000 words, the story is still very much intact and ready for sale. I got a few r...
