Re: Fan Fic Recommendation Thread

I am looking for a place to start. There are so many recommended her, that I am not sure where the best place is to begin (talking fics not sites).

I tend to like historical fiction and strong women characters.

Any recommendations would be great.

Thanks!

Re: Charlie Swan

There are only two times where I think Charlie made a mistake 2. when Charlie takes Jakes side when he kisses her. Uarg! I already hate Jake for doing that and Charlie that he is not mad at him for doing something to his daughter that she clearly does not want. That really freaks me out. Do they bo...

Re: Rosalie Hale #2

So, keep in mind that since Bella is the narrator, we are always going to see Rosalie at her worst. I'm not going to try to defend her, but I do have a measure of pity for her since I see her in the role of that "cautionary tale" that I spoke of. Something also to keep in mind: Rosalie's often repr...

Re: Name the Movie from the Quote

When King Lear dies in Act V, do you know what Shakespeare has written? He's written "He dies." That's all, nothing more. No fanfare, no metaphor, no brilliant final words. The culmination of the most influential work of dramatic literature is "He dies." It takes Shakespeare, a genius, to come up w...

Re: Charlie Swan

This reminds me of Edward telling Bella something like, "Charlie's happier when he pretends to believe what you're telling him." My quick search didn't reveal where in the saga Edward said that . . . does anyone know? That is Eclipse Chapter 20--Compromise. I had forgotten that and it is does speak...

Re: Charlie Swan

Wow it sure has been a long time since anyone posted here! I really wondered about Charlie as he is pretty much the only human we see after the wedding. I just cannot imagine the Chief of Police not driving up to the Culllens and demanding to see his daughter. And once Jacob arranges for him to see...
