Re: Rob's Halfway House - #10

Hi guys - Reading though all of these posts makes me so so so sad that I can't be at your convention! So how about this - lets set up a time when I can skype in or phone in or something and I can chat with all of you while you are at your get together? Seriously, if you were doing this NOW I would b...

Re: Rob's Halfway House - #10

Susie - I didn't mean that you changed the date for the HHCon, I meant that I was told a while back that you all would be at the Chicago convention in a a few weeks. I missed that you changed your date to the weekend in June. I will be at the convention in March. There is no way I can get to Chicago...

Re: Rob's Halfway House - #10

Hay Ladies - So this is what I get fro being absent from the boards - I missed the message that you changed the date of your Chicago meet up. Don't any of you, besides Kayla, have my e-mail???? LOL! Anyway, I can't go to Chicago that weekend. This summer is a nightmare for me. The week you chose is ...

Re: Gutter Guys & Gals : Full Moon Baking

The book I was talking about is The Twilight Saga Guide. Laura and I worked on that book and asked Stephenie many many questions to help fill in the blanks. We did ask her about the sex and she didn't answer it preferring to stay more PG for her younger readers. I keep bringing up Nahuel not out of ...

Re: Gutter Guys & Gals : Full Moon Baking

And BTW, I was checking out the archives and saw a comment from Alphie back in 2006 where she had discussed this with SM. Apparently SM had done a lot of thinking about these matters, but wouldn't get into very many details herself. Certain things are possible, but a lot we just have to trust SM on...

Re: Explorations

You guys always do such a great job of quoting each other, and I'm lousy at it! So forgive me for not dragging in all the quotes I want to use and being specific. I just wanted to jump in for a second with a few thoughts. All of the arguments about Jacob's behavior are valid. He is very immature and...

Re: Gutter Guys & Gals : Full Moon Baking

Do you know that the next time my daughter asks for a purple popsicle, I'm going to have a difficult time explaining what's so funny. Popsicles. I knew it was dangerous to come out here for this discussion. The last time was several years ago and we ended up using Vampire spoo as everything from bod...

Re: Gutter Guys & Gals : Full Moon Baking

Alphie , there is no doubt that this is clearly supported in the text: I couldn't walk as slowly as I should as I darted from the room. If anyone had been looking at me, they might have suspected that there was something not right about the way I moved. 'nuff said, it's so obvious. OH! MY! GOD! HAH...

Re: Gutter Guys & Gals : Full Moon Baking

Smitten - I can tell I'm going to have to be a little more specific. You got the first part right in that I think there is no need to stop, really, unless the vampire needs to feed in order to have more blood in his system to actually be able to complete the process. And when I said redistributing.....

Re: Most Romantic Scene in the Twilight Series

I've always thought that the ending - which I know many people hate - when Edward heard Bella's mind was just the icing on the cake of romance. All through the story he loved her and didn't understand why she loved him and he finally got to see why. I remember reading that for the first time and jus...
