Re: New Moon movie, take 5

I think they have Edward in front b/c he is Edward. Edward is always in the forefront of Bella's thoughts. Throughout NM she commits dangerous acts simply to "hear" his voice. The guy isn't even around in a huge chunk of the book and yet his presence is felt throughout the story. Jacob is there, try...

Re: Twilight Saga Q&A #4

twilightsagaaddict- I really couldn't have said that any better!! I completely agree with you and the kiss the one thing I would change as well. I really think Bella could have come to terms with her feelings for Jacob without the kiss...but I'm not the author so I guess I could be wrong... Up unti...

Re: Songs for Jacob in New Moon

great topic! there's a song by Blitzen Trapper called "Furr". it's a cool song. i'll stumble describing it...you should just listen to it. a young man gets drawn into a wolf pack, he relishes in the freedom of his fur, but then finds his true love and becomes a man. first time i heard of it i though...

Re: If you could have anything from Twilight...

well, my first thought was of course edward, but then i read the rules... i want bella's truck. the truck is her connection to reality- the thing that keeps her grounded. think about it, it's the exact opposite of edward. old without being elegant, slow, ugly, and it doesn't want to suck her blood. ...

Re: Edward Cullen

ugh, i know this is probably the wrong thread, but rereading parts of BD from jake's POV (i was looking for a quote and got sidetracked) i just couldn't STAND bella! it's easy to fall into discussing bella when you do edward. what is he without her? i think we ought to continue this particular thou...

Re: Edward Cullen

Forgive me, I'm several days (pages) behind...stupid thesis. sarah_cullen - VERY nice. i agree that his arrogance is justified. but i don't think that you get such a great idea of who a person is simply by reading their mind. i know that doesn't make much sense, but although you can get intelligence...

Re: Edward Cullen

At the risk of sounding trite, Edward's a fairly complex guy. Think about his ability to hear people's thoughts. Now picture having that power in a high school (hormones, hormones, hormones). All day you hear other people worrying, gushing, complaining, screaming, fantasizing, etc. Even if you could...

Re: Chapter 15 ~ Wager

1. Were you surprised at how undiscouraged Jacob remained, despite Bella’s assertions that she loves only Edward? -Surprised no. Annoyed, yes. 2. How did you feel about the kiss? Were you shocked like Bella, or did you see it coming? - Again, saw it coming, but didn't want it to happen. Forgive me, ...

Re: Alice Cullen

In Alice, you have a genuinely good person. I know people were upset by her disappearing act in BD, but doing what is right is not the same as doing what is easy. She has to make tough decisions that separate her from her loved ones. Her foresight is both a blessing and a burden. Always knowing the ...
