Re: Most Effective Horror Movies

So I have seen all the Friday the 13th's, Nightmare on Elm Street (which wigged me out!) but as a young child I saw the original 'When a Stranger Calls'. I really think I had to change my pants. I watched the new version that came out in the last year or 2, scared me too. 'Scream' honestly scared m...

Re: Dr. Who

Hmm, yeah, I wouldn't have referred to Donna as a sidekick if I thought that it would have any negative connotations.

Re: Dr. Who

Definitely! I like the romance angle that we got with Martha and Rose (Rose especially), but I think that Donna came along at the right time. We didn't need another series of 'will they, won't they?', especially not with a new companion.

Hey! (Now with added info!)

Just thought I'd introduce myself to you all! OK, so here are my answers to the intro questions... How did you pick your screen name? It's just my name - I wasn't feeling very imaginative when I signed up! How did you come to read Twilight and which book is your favorite? I was looking for a book to...

Re: The Worst Song Ever

Surely 'It's Chico Time' by Chico is the worst song ever recorded.

It actually makes my ears bleed.

Re: The Batman Movies

The Dark Knight absolutely blew me away. I'm a Batman fan - I love Batman Begins, Batman Returns and Batman, so I was excited about the Dark Knight for a while before it came out, and I wasn't disappointed. I never thought I'd say this, but Heath Ledger's Joker is so much better than Jack Nicholson'...

Re: Dr. Who

Yep, Donna is definitely the best side-kick. I used to prefer Martha, but she lost it for me when she became a soldier - she lost all of her heart. Donna has the best mixture of comedy and emotion. She blew me away in the episode where we saw what would have happened had she turned left at the cross...

Re: The Transformation

I thought that the reason that Bella was able to stay quiet during the transformation and found being a newborn easier than the others was something to do with her special power. Bella's power is all about strength of mind. She had this as a human (hence Edward being unable to read her thoughts etc)...
