Re: Most Nerve-wracking, heart stopping Moments thread

Twilight: When Bella was dying and Edward had to decide what he was going to do. Since I read Twilight when it first came out, l didn't know if there was going to be another book. New Moon: When Alice returns - Bella's reaction broke my heart. Eclipse: Can't think of anything else but that famous ki...

Re: Twilight Movie~Actors' Performances

Kristen : Some are saying that she lacked emotion, but I noticed that she was very animated in her scenes with Jacob. I don't think it was her acting ability, but more an actor's interpretation of the character. She was very relaxed around Jacob because she only thought of him as a friend. In those...

Re: If there is an Eclipse...

If they have committed to making New Moon, I can't imagine them not making Eclipse! I found Twilight the first year it was written and my first thought after closing the book was, "This would make a great movie!" What a long and worthwhile wait that was, but to wait at least two more years...

Re: Twilight Movie ~Fan reactions

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and the more I read people's comments and discuss it, the more I'm tempted to say, "I loved it" But the bottom line for me, was, I wanted to like it. Because of this, I could overlook most of the aspects that didn't thrill me. -Jasper did look a bit odd, but ...

Re: The Third Table

A book that’s changed my life. The firsts that come to mind are those that got me reading or inspired me to read again. The Nancy Drew series finally turned me on to reading in sixth grade. I pretty much read throughout high school, but when I became an English major in college and was forced to ana...

Re: Black Dagger Brotherhood

I've read Phury's book twice. I really liked it. When I re-read the others and then re-read Phury, I didn't feel that he was cheated of a book as much as I originally felt. I just had a similar epiphany while posting on another site. As much as I liked Phury's book, it just didn't click for me. Som...

Re: Most Nerve-wracking, heart stopping Moments thread

Twilight: It wasn't so much Edward leaving because I actually found that to be a relief - his brooding the days before was too stressful. My jaw dropped when Bella went back into her room and everything was gone. It was as if he never existed. BD: When Bella almost died giving birth. This is not a c...

Re: The Midnight Breed Book Series

Una - guess that Hottie - are we suppose to say which character we'd think he'd be good as? If so, with those gray eyes, I'd say Lucan. nissanmama - I said that exact same thing over at the Dex, but nobody agreed! Look at those canines and pale skin! Something has to be up with that! And whoever th...

Re: "Adult Thread: Spoiler Warning" Psy/Changeling Series

I definately like this series, but I'm not ready to say I love it. When it gets too descriptive of the Psy networking I get lost. I'm not a big scifi fan. I did love the first book because of its uniqueness, but the second one was too similar to the first. But then I loved the third one because it s...
