Re: Choices aka Ars Longa Vita Brevis
I think one point here is that Stephenie Meyer actually wrote the original Forever Dawn before she ever rewrote Twilight and the rest of the series for a younger audience. To her this is simply a natural conclusion after all this time, and perhaps she didnt think twice about it. Maybe we're actually...

Re: Vampire Special Talents
How can some of these 'special talents' be derived from something they had when they were human. For sure, if they had a kind of psychic ability in the first case, it would continue through, but other abilities? Not necessarily able to work. A lot of these abilities would just be natural instincts, ...

Re: Favorite Book of the Saga
I would say Twilight. My mind has gone a long way since, but I've gotten to a point where I'm not in such a frame of mind where I really like Twilight so much anymore. Twilight is the original story and as some of us here think, it would have done better as a single unit on its own. New Moon and Ecl...

Re: Animal preferance
Jasper probably wouldnt have such preferrances yet as such, since he's still pretty new to the whole habit, isnt he? Animal blood probably pales a lot in comparison to human blood, and animal blood isnt really ever going to match up. Who knows? In any case, no birds. Birds are too small and wouldnt ...

Re: Twilight Saga Q&A #3
to be honest I never really got the scene where James is following Em, Edward and Rosalie. Why was Rosalie marking the tree and why was James even following them, he should have known Bella is not with them since he heard her saying she is going to AZ. Agreed with everything replied above. But on t...

Re: Twilight Saga Q&A #3
Near the end when they're trying to trick James & lead him away Edward all of a sudden stops and says that the tracker figured it out. I was wondering how he was able to know James is no longer following their false lead & then as we know goes to Arizona. I assumed at the time that Alice ha...

Re: Edward, Bella, and Nessie as a family
A new book probably would not be possible. I for one, would not read the book just for fluff and family life, even if really hardcore Twilight fans will. A book needs a scenario to work around, or at least something needs to happen that will allow for the story to continue. Most people would probabl...

Re: Technology in the Twilight series
Well aka_tennyo I figured that Stephenie did that to try and make the books a bit more timeless. I loved Edward giving Renesmee an MP3 player, what a cool dad! Agreed, I suppose. Even so, I stand by that. Personally, I may be a little biased because of this as I am pretty into technology, but I fin...

Re: The Science of Twilight
Hello, I noticed that most of the discussions here are for a different aspect of science within the Twilight universe than I am asking - or discussing - exactly, so I can only hope to pitch in my question and ask for it to be discussed, since I'm not discussing Renesmee myself. I want to discuss whe...

Re: Technology in the Twilight series
I reckon they probably should have more technology considering the money they have and the time they have on their hands. It's a weird thought to imagine them ona computer, but also a reasonable one.
