Re: Slumdog Millionaire

I haven't seen the movie yet..but I was really getting tired of hearing the name so many times when I was watching the Oscars. It was kind of like when a radio station plays the same song over and over again until you just don't like it anymore because it is SO played out. I'm sorry but that's kind...

I requested this thread because no way can I be the only person obsessed with this movie...seriously, Slumdog is outpacing Twilight these days on the obsessiveness scale. Just absolutely everything about the movie is amazing, and I can enjoy it in so many ways, from a purely audience perspective to ...

Revotionary Road.
It was overacted sometimes, extremely depressing all the time, and very good overall.

Re: What are you reading?

I"m reading Q&A by Vikas Swarup, the book that the movie Slumdog Millionaire was based on. Actually, they've republished it under the title Slumdog Millionaire for the sake of marketing, but I really wish they hadn't. It is so completely and utterly different from the movie that I feel like it deser...

Watching Kirsten whine in Twilight was bad enough, I will not watch her be all depressed for no reason at all. Its like New Moon all over again, but with rape. :e...

Such a cute movie, but kind of disturbing... :?
How is it disturbing? Mind you I've only seen it once and that was a while ago, so it's not fresh in my mind by any means, but I can't remember anything particularly disturbing.
