Huge is great! Hopefully means it's more worth it than a tiny wee book. I checked amazon uk again today, and it now says I can get it by the 28th if I order in the next 50-something hours! Yay!

Re: Adult Thread ~ BDB series ~ Bow chika bow

Please tell me Rehv is serving up the Princess's head on a platter!?!? Oh I hope so! Especially given the previous quote. Or what if it's something to do with John? He could be signing it, but I can't really see him giving anything to Xhex - she doesn't seem the sort who would like presents. Less t...

Re: Adult Thread ~ BDB series ~ Bow chika bow

I can see Ehlena saying this - maybe the first time she comes to his penthouse? It could be after her work or something, when she will be tired. (Following comments based on info from the excerpts) They seem to be at the penthouse in the second excerpt. I see them ending up there the first time in a...

Re: Adult Thread ~ BDB series ~ Bow chika bow

it could be anyone saying it to Rehv...anyone he's eating a meal with Maybe it's Ehlena? She's a nurse so maybe he's under her care and she's telling him to eat up for his strength? I dunno...just guesses on this one... Although I can see a Brother saying it to him in some sarcastic tone with the "...

Re: Adult Thread ~ BDB series ~ Bow chika bow

I'm not sure Xhex would want to be in the Brotherhood, really. She seems to like her privacy, with always going home etc, and it just seems to... controlling, tbh. I think she likes her freedom too much for it. She fights the lessers on her own terms though, doesn't she?

Re: Adult Thread ~ BDB series ~ Bow chika bow

And I completely agree about the titles. The one I enjoyed most just for the lol-factor was Lover Unbound. hahahhaha. Oh, V. *feeling like a complete idiot* You know, I completely missed that. How could I miss that?!? I'm now rolling around the floor laughing   I love V. I really do. Also...

Re: Adult Thread ~ BDB series ~ Bow chika bow

Okay, I think that quote is a serious one. Actually, I thought it seemed familiar, like something from one of the excerpts - it is. Here: http://www.jrward.com/books-lav2.html Quote, for those who might not want the whole excerpt: She glanced over at him. “I want to be with you but... I don’t know. ...

Re: Adult Thread ~ BDB series ~ Bow chika bow

Yeah, I've asked the pronunciation in the past - it's Hex.

Almost all the quotes could be fairly ambiguous - but I think that makes it more interesting for our discussions, that there's so many possibilities.
