Re: What are you reading?

Chapter 2 of my Chemistry textbook. And the first two chapters of "The World is Flat," which is fairly interesting, except for the fact that I have to have it done and a synopsis on it by Monday. :( I did however, finally get my hands on "Betrayed" from the House of Night series, which I've been se...

Who's going to ask for a Doctors creditials in the Amazon or the Congo...They are likely to be happy that someone is there to help them...

Re: Bella Swan Cullen #3

I have to agree that this is just a fun read not a classic...Teenager book that gives some lesson's but not too serious...We need to keep things in perspective... Seriously. I don't see the point in attempting to analyze these books as if they were intended to be The Next Great American Novel. They...

Re: Bella Swan Cullen #3

This was written to be a preteen/teen book so I think we need to stop comparing it to the classics. [ Post made via Mobile Device ] Agreed 100%. Can't say I really care whether or not Bella is capable of quoting the classics. I have to agree that this is just a fun read not a classic...Teenager boo...

Re: Edward Cullen #6

Hmm, the only huge problem I see with Edward trying to be a doctor is that he looks 17. Carlisle at least can pull off the doctor gig for a few years in one place and be fairly nondescript. I don't think it would be as easy for someone who can hardly pull off looking older than a 2nd year med stude...

Re: Edward and Bella 2

Just having a spot of fun, una ! And I assure you, the double post was quite unintentional. The offending parties, namely my decrepid computer, have been castigated thoroughly. :) I should hope so! Like any teenager Bella is more influenced by her emotions. She has moments where she does try ...

Re: Edward Cullen #6

OK Una, Rabbit holes, think Alice in Wonderland, you neve know what's down there and in what direction it will lead...fun to explore everything. Some of it directly involving the thread, some personal inquires that all can learn from and others just out there. We do come back to where the trhead is...
