Re: Heavenly Hash--a thread for the "older" Twilight crowd

Hey all! Since we're not allowed to make this a gaming thread only, let me pose a question: Were you hoping for a "fight" between the Cullens and the Volturi? Were you disappointed or relieved when it became a battle of strategy instead of life? Keeping the Faith: This is about two boys in love with...

Re: True things

Truth: nissanmama has given up being the Welcome Wagon...at least until football season is over. Truth: I hate waking up with my stomach in a not over things (and people) I'm worried about. Truth: I hate giving any of my emotional energy to jerky, mean, immature football parents who don't deserve a ...

Re: Cassandra Claire: Mortal Instruments Series

City of Ashes was definitely better than City of Bones. I'm hoping City of Glass will be even better. I think Clare is getting to know her characters better and the writing is improving with each book.

Re: What's your eye color?

My eyes are gray, but will lean green or blue depending on what I'm wearing. My kids have amazing eyes. My sons are that startling, vivid royal blue and my daughter has pale, cornflower blue eyes, they're almost purple. They get unsolicited compliments all the time.

Re: The Midnight Breed Book Series

I love how unprepared all these males are (throughout most of the series, I think) are for the women who knock them on their collective backsides. Whether the women are strong in their own right, or not so much, it's a hoot watching these Alpha Males squirm. In fact, many of the vamps fight the bon...

Truth: My favorite t-shirts were shrunk in the dryer today. Truth: My mother used to shirnk my shirts too. I started doing my own laundry in high school to protect it. Truth: When I visit I still don't let her do my laundry. Truth: I went to stake conference tonight. Truth: I dragged FS along since...

Re: The Gutter Gals Thread--Innuendo thread for the "older" fan

I agree with every Alcyone said, but I just can't imagine Jacob not being a father. He needs to pass on his superior alpha genes. With Nessie not aging like human women, it's not likely he'll have mulpile wives through time like Taha Aki did. There won't be a "third wife" for him and multiple sons.....

Re: Dating Thread

he still wants to be friends. How can I do that? [/b] My son is actually doing this quite successfully with a "girl" friend. She's liked him for years and he knows it. They're best buds, one of the few girls he can talk to, but he doesn't feel romatically about her. She values his company enough to...
