Re: Gutter Gals & Guys -- Rainbow Popsicles. The Discussion.

I was actually on like my god know how many reads of HP before TW came into my life and I haven't stopped except giving time to listen to the audiobooks. Then I started reading the series aging. I bought the Host but haven't really decided to read it yet. I go on a whim with books, when I get the u...

Re: Gen Y---the twenty somethings thread

Ahhh, it was a good one! I am glad Alex pulled his head out of his rear end, I just hope he doesn't put it back up there!! I mean come on. At least Izzie let him know how she feels and that it ain't changing! Go Izzie! I don't know about anyone else, but I am getting impatient for Lexi and George t...

Re: Gutter Gals & Guys -- Rainbow Popsicles. The Discussion.

Okay, I know that technically we have a new topic, but the original dream question made me remember last night's dream, and I had to share it in all it's strangeness with you. Backstory to my dream: Lately I have been addicted [in the clinical sense] to http://www.Icanhascheezburger.com I have been ...

Re: Gutter Gals & Guys School for Cullen-ary Arts --Adult Thread

I have been meticulously following the thread for the last few days, but have been too busy to post! (lotsa stuff going on and such.) My two cents on the topics that have been touched upon: Halloween movies! How I love them. I think the critera for what makes a movie specifically "Halloween"-esque w...

Re: Gutter Gals & Guys School for Cullen-ary Arts --Adult Thread

I don't think I have a favorite Halloween movie. I thought about it and couldn't come up with one. The book and movie, Clockwork Orange , freaked me out. I couldn't sleep for weeks after those. *shudder*. This may sound dumb but vampires freak me out, especially after I read Interview with Vampire ...

"I love a happy ending." - Aro NM pg 468

Bahahahahahaha. Classic. Even though the mental image it conjures makes me want to gag, it is still funny.

Re: Gutter Gals & Guys School for Cullen-ary Arts --Adult Thread

Great question, Nova . My favorite Halloween movie truly is The Nightmare Before Christmas . My cellphone wallpaper is TNBC. I like that I can use stuff from the movie twice. "Kidnap the Sandy Claws" is one of my Christmas ringtones. I watched E.T. the other day, and I still love it. Hocus Pocus is...

Re: Twilight Guys

*Girl Question here* I know this might be wierd but I have to ask - Did any of you (Straight) guys find yourself a tad sexually confused when reading Twilight? lol It's just being a young woman I don't see how anyone can read Twilight and not have the tiniest bit of sexual interest in Edward becaus...

Re: Gutter Gals & Guys School for Cullen-ary Arts --Adult Thread

I didn't like Jane Eyre. I read it for a class called The Female Gothic. The only part I liked was when Jane stands up to her cousin and refuses to marry him. I never realized it, but I seem to have a strong preference for 'creey/romantic/gothic' novels. The Bronte sisters were masters at it; I lov...

Re: Gutter Gals & Guys School for Cullen-ary Arts --Adult Thread

Nova - I, too hate the phrase 'knocked up'. It sounds violent, and vulgar (which is different than guttery-goodness). 37 - I couldn't think of a Movie character that I relate to very much, but I do relate to 'Jane Eyre' a LOT. (And hey, it was made into a BBC miniseries, so that kind of counts as a...
