Re: Writers Central

Thanks Virginia May!!!! That is a lovely quote! I managed to write 16 pages today! That's amazing. I wish I could do that everyday... :P I'd certainly get done faster, but it doesn't always happen. Today was really easy though as I was writing one of my favorite parts of the story, so it came to me...

Re: Writers Central

Well I'm officially in deep with the novelization of WP... It's been a fantastic process and while it is a bit different than my usual writings, I think it is wonderful. I love screenwriting, but I'm finding novel writing to be, in some ways, much more rewarding. Screenwriting is so restrictive in ...

Re: Writers Central

It is always important to be very careful as to what information you post, especially if it is specific information in regards to the plot, characters, and such as those can be easily be stolen. As for titles... To protect myself, I copyright all of my material. It costs a bit, but my copyright reg...

Re: Writers Central

I went ahead and chose first person, as I think it would allow me the greater oppertunity, as the story is almost entirely about one character, their growth, and adventure. When I sat down and tried to write it third person, I found that I had no intentions of revealing the other character's though...

Re: Writers Central

I finished the first chapter of "Wolf Prince" on Monday. I'm really pleased. Now, oddly enough I have to make a huge decision. The opening chapter is more of a prologue than anything else, and it ends with "Sebastian" retelling the tale of his life. As I didn't want to reveal his identity, I wrote ...

Re: Writers Central

WOOT! Since Sunday, I wrote the first 9 pages of Wolf Prince as a novel! It took me forever to find a proper starting place, and because I intend the actual novelization to have a completely different feel from the movie script, the story begins totally different. I can certainly take the novel int...

Re: Writers Central

I'm back again!!! My script, "The Wolf Prince" got reviewed by one of Hollywood's top screenwriting guru's and he LOVED it. He gave me a few suggestions as to a few minor changes, but thought it would make a fantastic movie. He also wisely advised that I actually write it as a novel as well, as he ...

Re: Writers Central

Got a bit of writing business business out of the way. My old agent retired and I was sort of scared, as I've hadn't had to agent hunt in years, but I was blessed with a new agent provided through a friend of mine, of whom has opened his own production company/ talent management. This is really coo...

Re: Writers Central

I totally understand Amanda Beth. To me it will ultimately come down to what will give the reader the best possible view point. It is really a tough decision, but at this point, I'm still plotting out the plot differences between the script and the novel. Novel writing is so much more liberating th...

Re: Writers Central

Hey all, I just turned in my entry for Twilight Saga to the Lex for review. I want the entry to represent the saga and such. It will be included in a new book that a friend of mine is writing that is an anthology of sorts of various werewolf myths, legends, films, and games. As Twilight has werewol...
