Re: General Discussion on Books and Movie to book adaptations

Well I have a general rule for watching movies when I've read the book first - I have to take it as seperate, a similar story but different, and that way I'm not so disappointed. Obviously if a movie is very close to a book than I can except them together but usually I just take them as different st...

Re: Cassandra Claire: Mortal Instruments Series

I've just read City of Bones which I loved but like other people (I only read the first page of the thread so I wouldn't be spoiled!) I didn't like the whole Jace/Clary thing. Just a bit weird but I'm going to read the next one anyway and maybe it will work out!

Well it's about 12.35 now and I'm still awake because I'm not tired at all! I'm going to go to bed soon though because I have to get up early tomorrow.

Re: Pulling a Bella

My friend had a funny one a while ago.We were walking home from a night out and the conversation went something like this: Friend: That was a good night wasn't it? Me: Yep really fun....(other random things about the night) Friend: (grabbing my arm and pulling me over) Be careful don't walk into the...

10/10 really nice! I will listen to the song but I can't right now!

To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting. ~e.e. cummings,

Re: Music that Makes You Swoon

I just got The Script's album and there's a song on it called I'm Yours that really made me swoon. The lyrics are: You've touched these tired eyes of mine And mapped my face line by line And some how growing old feels fine I listen close for I'm not smart You wrap your thoughts and works of art And ...

Re: What do you look for in a fictional hero?

I love heroes that I can believe could exist. They need to have something that makes them different to other heroes so I don't forget them. Like everyone else has said, they have to have imperfections. A perfect person isn't believable at all. There has to be a good balance between good and bad qual...

Perfect! .....but then not all scangers are that bad! I actually heard one say something really sweet the other day. He was picking up his girlfriend from school and she was like 'OMG don't look at me, I'm not wearin any makeup!' and he said 'if I wanted to go out with your makeup I'd go and ...
