Re: BYU is Stephenie a Mormon?

My husband went to Brazil on his mission! It was the Porto Allegre North Mission, but it's been 12 yrs ago so I'm sure the mission name has changed, what with the growth of the church down there. How exciting that your brother is coming home! My brother came home from a mission to Oklahoma (I always...

Re: What are you reading?

una : your avatar is so nice looking! So clear and crisp, love it!! I read The Time Traveler's Wife and it was a REALLY good story but I don't recommend it without warning people that there is STUFF in it, not a ton of stuff, but it is there. The language is also a bit harsh at times. The love stor...

Re: The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

And yeah, I agree, Katniss will be hard. Some people have said that Bianca Malino fits the part, but I'm not 100% sure yet. Is that girl a good actress? I don't recognize her. I just hope that whoever they choose will be able to blow us away with her acting, she could either make the film or ruin i...

Re: New Moon movie, take 5

Someone on here was worried that Edward would look like he was wearing lipstick (like in Twilight) in New Moon . . . Well, worry no more, I just found a new promotional poster and it is completely lipstick-free. And he looks mighty vampire-perfect!! :o :D http://everglowmedia.net/gallery/dis...

Re: The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

I think Michelle Trachtenberg, being 24, would be too old to play Katniss. Even though she was on Gossip Girl, I don't think she really looks like she is in her mid-teens. But for years movies and tv shows have been trying to get us to think that 15 - 18 year olds look like 20-25 years old, so mayb...

Re: What are you reading?

I'm reading the 5th House of Night, Hunted. I wasn't expecting much, since they are all awful, and it's living up to my low expectations. Glad to find someone who agrees with me. :D I only read the first one, but that was too much for me. LOL, I couldn't read any more of those books even if you pai...

Re: Rachelle LeFevere as Victoria

I'm agreeing with everyone that said they hate inconsistencies with the actors during a series. That's the reason I wanted Taylor to keep his Jacob role (well, that and he is completely adorable). I really, really like Rachelle, she has a very magnetic personality and I LOVED her line in Twilight "I...

pennybug84: Thanks for your compliment, but I can't take credit for the banner, and I found it randomly on the internet. I really need to give credit to who made it because I love it too!!

My sister loves that Psych show but I've never seen it. I'll have to tune in!

Re: What are you reading?

I just finished Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder and I REALLY, REALLY liked it. Full of action and a very cool story line! I'm going to be reading the next two books in the series, Magic Study and Fire Study . I recommend them to all!! I'm going to be starting a book called Old Magic by Marianne Curl...

Re: The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

Jenna, has your ARC come yet? :D Ally_Cat, I know, it's good there's a thread for it. I also had to force myself to go to bed and stop reading. It's going to be even harder with Catching Fire. No. :( They said that mine was a "difficult mailing" and I should get it next week. The hardest person for...
