Re: Gen Y---the twenty somethings thread

I agree that Bella would major in some form of English/Literature. I also think that she might have a minor in something that would include Mythology, just because it was a topic of discussion in Breaking Dawn . I guess I'd be more interested in Mythology too, if my whole life proved a few of the to...

Re: Gen Y---the twenty somethings thread

I'm that girl too. I mention it at least once a day, for a myriad of reasons. For example, a group of co-workers and I went out to lunch the other day ... at a restaurant called Jasper's. Re: Broadway Shows

I love all things Broadway, but RENT REIGNS SUPREME.

I saw the touring cast last November and it was AMAZING. *sigh*

They are releasing a live, recorded version of the broadway cast in a few weeks, and I'm pretty excited about it:

Re: Saturday Night Live

I'm actually not very impressed with SNL much these days aside from ANDY SAMBURG! The digital shorts he produces are freakin' hilarious. I've been a fan since "Lazy Sunday"! And The Special Box skit with Justin Timberlake...

Re: Blue October

Blue October got their start around my hometown, and I really liked their album "History For Sale". It was released a few years before "Foiled" and I prefer it, though I think it's a bit darker for some of the songs. My favorite songs are "Balance Beam", "Ugly Side" and "Amazing". I used to really l...

Re: Did You Ever Think You're Not Human?

la_tua_cantante - It's certainly unusual, and quite clever. I tend to see myself in third person when I do projection meditations - when you meditate and then see yourself going somewhere else. If you don't meditate, you might consider picking it up. It sounds like it would come very naturally to y...

Re: Gen Y---the twenty somethings thread

Maybe I'll make him a "Personal Space Heater" shirt to appease him. :) On a different subject, how did you all find the series? I was drawn to it after seeing the first teaser trailer in the theaters. I then picked up Twilight and it was sitting on my shelf for a while ... I think subconsciously I ...
