Re: Alistair

Alistair was my favorite new vampire as well. I also wish that he hadn't bolted (for purely selfish reasons - I wanted to see more of him), but imagine how things must have looked to him peeking out the attic window. He had been promised that the Cullens didn't want a confrontation and he would just...

Re: Charlie's Response

One thing I've started questioning recently is how could Jacob tell Charlie. I probably need to read the book again but I was under the impression from New Moon that a wolf couldn't tell anybody except the person he/she imprinted on. Jake tried to tell Bella in New Moon but, even though he wanted to...

Re: What kind of animals do you have?

I have a dog. He's an 8 year old pug named Capone. I also have a 5 year old cat named Kira. She's a mixture of grey and calico, mostly grey. Then I have an outdoor pond with 12 goldfish named after the King Arthur legends: Arthur, Guenivere, Lancelot, Merlin, Morgana, Uther, Igraine, Tristan, Isolde...

Re: Breaking Dawn-I'm in the middle about it

Well, I guess this is where I should post. I didn't love it but I didn't hate it. Overall I felt satisfied and I think it's an appropriate ending to the series, though. The biggest reason that I believe I didn't love it is because I had to time to anticipate it, to make predictions and assumptions. ...

Re: New and Addicted

Thanks for the warm welcome! I have three tarot decks at the moment...the typical Rider Waite, a Greek Mythology deck called the Mystic Tarot and a new one based on the King Arthur legends that I bought just for fun. The Celtic Cross spread is my favorite because I feel it's the most informative. My...

Re: Anime Thread

Oooo an anime thread! How cool! I just went to Otakon last month where I did my first cosplay as Nyuu from Elfen Lied. So I'm no stranger to fandom. 8-) These are my favorites in no particular order: Elfen Lied Vampire Princess Miyu Trigun Ah! My Goddess Visions of Escaflowne Vampire Hunter D (Origi...

Re: Midnight Sun Partial draft release --Express your feelings

I was devastated to hear that Midnight Sun was leaked and therefore may never be published. I was really looking forward to it and from the first chapter I believe it will be my favorite book in the series if I ever get to read it. I knew nothing about the leak before reading Stephenie's comment on ...

How did you pick your screen name? LdyDestani or Destani have been my default screen names as long as the internet has existed. I've had the nicknames since high school because of my fascination with gypsies and the fact that I read tarot cards. How did you come to read Twilight and which book is y...
