Re: Choices aka Ars Longa Vita Brevis

That's true, December, I hadn't thought of it without BD in the picture. And you know what bothers me even more? That Edward seemed suddenly more inclined to go with Bella's plan after... wait for it... he hears Renesme's voice in the womb. Not because he sees how much it means to Bella, and not bec...

Re: Heavenly Hash--a thread for the "older" Twilight crowd

Yep, Una... it's Italian. Although there are different variations all through Europe, I understand. Germany has a guy who does it in early December, I think. But La Befana is always late so she never comes until January. The story is that the La Befana gets asked by the Wise Men for directions to wh...

Re: Heavenly Hash--a thread for the "older" Twilight crowd

I haven't watched that show yet! It sounds very good, so I guess I need to get with the times. :D I can't imagine having that many children, let along all the same age! My sister has twins, and for a while there I was sure she was going to have a breakdown. Those two are almost ten years old now, bu...

Re: Choices aka Ars Longa Vita Brevis

he's not going to let her die in his arms when he knows what her choice has been all along. That line gave me tingles! Say it again to yourself, and really think about it. *shiver* I makes me wonder... If there had been a situation in which Bella was dying unexpectedly , as opposed to the health is...

Re: Heavenly Hash--a thread for the "older" Twilight crowd

Hubby and I went to Vegas. Now that I think about it, that wasn't the smartest choice, considering that I was still under 21. But there was still plenty of fun to be had... we rode all the roller coasters (the two on top of the Stratosphere were faitly new) and ate at cool restaurants.

Re: Heavenly Hash--a thread for the "older" Twilight crowd

I do not come here often enough! I've been reading all the last posts and you guys just make me smile. :) One of my favorite Christmas movies is Small One. It's a animated cartoon flick about the donkey Mary rode to Bethlehem... absolutely the best ever! I also love Mickey's Christmas Carol. Hope ev...

Re: Gen Y---the twenty somethings thread

I turned 29 in August and I don't know how many times that day I kept repeating that if ever there was a good time to be bitten by a vampire, that was it. :) I'm really not bothered about turning 30, though, is that weird? People keep asking me but it just must not be hitting me yet. The thirties wi...

Re: Gen Y---the twenty somethings thread

I LOVED The Host. I thought, in many ways, that it was even better than the Twilight books. But I still love you, Edward. Don't worry ;)

Oh, and though I am very much Team Edward I have always -- since the beginning -- loved Jacob as well. Just a soft spot for dorky-cute, I guess :)

Re: Gen Y---the twenty somethings thread

Woah, a twenty-something thread? I guess that means I have like... nine months left to post on here before I turn thirty! :) I guess that makes me the oldest around here! That's new for me. I'm usually the youngest of whatever group I'm in, for some reason or another. I tried to read the last few po...
