Re: Writers Central

I really need to get organized, I need Storyist or another kind of software like that, well that or always walking with a notepad with everything about my story. While I love moleskines and have a couple of them, it's difficult to have everything there, much less organized.
Help?

Re: Writers Central

@Amanda Beth - Yes I do feel like that. When I'm trying to imagine my story, and what is going to happen, I just can't help to feel it has been done before, most of the times.

Re: Writers Central

I also would like a PC version of that software, it just looks great. On the topic of keeping notes and plots, even though I try to write it down, my head is always running too fast, so when I'm writing I'm already on another part of the story. It's like I'm seeing a movie, and it's difficult for me...

Re: Writers Central

I think she can be more heroine, because it's not the traditional fighting/warrior hero. Brains and heart over muscles. That's what I mean, you just don't see a male Bella in literature, much less in cinema or tv shows. A true hero is the one that makes anything and everything to save the ones he lo...

Re: Writers Central

Couldn't agree more, society made this role model types, and since then only rarely we see any different. Let's do it, let's change, shock, innovate the world of literature, give new role models. We hear all the time (and I saw a signature here once) about age being only a number, that we can be you...

Re: Writers Central

I didn't meant it had to be fanfiction, although I agree that's one of the many beauty's of it. I would like to read some of those, whether they are fanfic or original story. I understand that most of the readers for this kind of stories are as you put it "prince-saves-the-princess" type o...

Re: Writers Central

Two things, one on writing the other just a bit of an outburst and I apologize in advance for it. Why in this kind of stories (Twilight and so on) there is always the main character that is a girl falling for the mystical being. Why can't be a boy, why can't a male character fall for the vampire, al...

Re: Digital Reading: e-books discussion

I have a question what happens if the machine crashes is it like a computer where you can lose all of your books that where stored in the Kindle? Thanks in advance, For what I've read, the books, in case of kindle, are associated with your account, so you can download them to one of the various pla...

Re: Digital Reading: e-books discussion

So I'll get straight to the point, although Kindle and Nook, look great and attractive, they're just to expensive for me. Never the less I would like to try e-books, to see if I like it. I have a Windows Phone, so do you advise me any app for e-books?

Re: Writers Central

(I know it's a lousy example) But just as a smoker doesn't stop being a smoker, just because he quit, a writer doesn't stop being a write just because it stopped writing. A very deserved vacation I would say Amanda, I said this before you are an amazing writer and hope I can continue to read your st...
