Yes, I'm evil.

And I asked the question because I think she would be shaken if somebody, Uncle Emmett for example, killed the girl who worked at the convenience store.
I just sent a pm to the mods to give them a heads up. So, be on the look out for Renesmee, Act II.

Anyway, I really don't think she would take it that hard. I think Renesmee is an amazingly intelligent and logical lady. I think she would understand the pull that human blood holds for the others, and understand the instinctive impulse to feed. Especially given that she actually prefers human blood herself.

absolutely!
She'd probably be very forgiving of such an incident.
Jacob, however, might have some reservations....

Nah, I think everyone would look at it as being a tragic accident and try to console whoever did it.
There's really no sense in doing anything else if it was indeed an accident.

Jacob would most definitely be unhappy. When I was wondering how Renesmee would react, I was thinking of the fact that she probably considers her family as her role models and heroes. To see them in a moment of weakness, especially considering she was able to control her thirst at three days old, would be difficult. I know she'd understand because, as you said, she's a mature young lady, but she'd be losing a bit of her childhood when she saw one of her family members in that situation.

That would be an even worse loss of innocence then the scenario with Jacob in the story I wrote with my love (see signature).
Poor Renesmee!

I'm positive Renesmee already knows that some of her family members used to kill humans. It would be hard to believe that no one's shared the story of their past with her.

I think the real question comes down to - do you think Renesmee will ever be the one to slip up?

doubtful^^
She has had tremendous self-control from birth, biting her mother notwithstanding, and I doubt she will ever have occasion for her control to slip.
I could be wrong...
