Indeed they are, who could refuse Cullen, Darcy of Heathcliff.
Classic novels are amazing for men like these.
No wonder Edward was born in the early 1900s.

I'd go for Mr. Darcy. <3 (both of them). Cullen and Heathcliff scare me, to be frank.

Heathcliff is rather chilling, but very passionate with his mind and heart and thus portrays a kind of animalistic man! lol!
Has anyone seen Lost in Austen?

Heathcliff is an idiot for being in love with an idiot. I could very easily resist that lunatic!
But any of Austen's heroes and the Cullens! *melllllltssss*!!!

Actually, that is not who I was referring to from my list as a murderer. Although I could name a flaw that Edward has and it has nothing to do with killing people or being a ravenous vampire.

I think SM did that on purpose!
I haven't read Wuthering Heights so I don't know about Heathcliff.
But I agree I love Edward (all of the Cullen boys actually) and Darcy (except at first I kind of hated him.) And the guy in Sense & Sensibility the colonel or something, I can't remember his name. But what a great guy.

As much as I love Edward he's not perfect. In my opinion all characters need to have some sort of flaw to make them interesting and more realistic.

I would like to say, I'm not sure I like Mr. Darcy.
Of course, my opinion may not be valid since I've only read Pride And Predjudice and Zombies, and he is likely to be rather different in the actual book. But he reminds me a lot of Heathcilff, and I don't like the similarities.
I didn't like Heathcliff either.
Maybe I just have it in for classic literature lover boys?
And Elizabeth totally kicks zombie butt. :D I think all classic lit would be much better if they had zombies in them.
Lord of the Zombies... Jurassic Zombies... Zombieing Heights.... Twizombies! Bwahahahahah!

I'm adding Mat and Rand from The Wheel Of Time to my list. Not that anyone knows them...

I'm sure Mr. Darcy is much better in the actual Pride and Prejudice than the one with zombies.
I mean, he's so sweet, once you get past his arrogance. He saved Lizzy's sister, and mended Mr. Bingley and Jane's relationship (well, it may have been his fault to begin with, but he didn't know and he helped to fix it!)

That's so true. Edward is perfect in a lot of ways, but still he has his things that make him more "human" and that makes me relate to him more. I love Edward. He's my one and only fictional crush ever :) Mr Darcy would be good as well (haven't read Austen in ages though). But Edward is still my # 1.
