Ashley C - Where I come from, we'd call them trainers probably. Plimsolls are (usually) black shoes that kids wear to do Pe. But joggers/trackies are the same. :D

It depends on who i am with.
With family and family friends i speak formally, but
with mates i tend to speak informally with alot of slang that
i picked up during my teens.
I've also learned a few english-english (Colloquial)
having a few english friends, and its funny when people are like wtf are they
saying? its english but i'm not understanding it.

Hey! I take offense to that! I'm from New York. What exactly do you find annoying about it? Er, I'm told that I don't have an accent. -shrug- I sound like an American?

I LOVE, the New York accent, its so quirky. It's better than the
'LIKE OMIGHAWD' one I have to hear...
-headdesk-
I talk like, people make fun of people from MN because they, tend to stress o's and a's and i's. Thats how I talk, mixed with like..a less valleygirl Californian accent... -shrug-
