Real quick, Lynne... love the proposed cover. :D

How is the editing going?

The editing is done now, thank heavens! On that one, anyway. Soon I'll have to start work on book two. My publisher's reading it at the moment, and she's already told me that some work needs to be done. *sigh*

Sequels are trickier than one might think. As is the editing process in general. Just stay strong & keep writing. :)

I've got what I think is the final cover for my book. Let me know what you think.

I like it! Though I agree with the comment you posted in the halfway house -- veridon 1 is too front and center.

Did anyone do NaNoWriMo this year? I started and was doing SO well but then I got dreadfully ill for a week and now I'm going to be at a horse show Friday-Sunday. I got 23k words in 14 days, so not bad for my first time.

I finished my novel and I'm now editing it for a 1000000th time. I sent out a couple queries, only heard back from one who liked the premise but it just wasn't for her. *Shrug*

I had just finished writing my latest novel the month before, so no, I didn't participate, as I had no new good ideas and I was too busy enjoying what I'd just written!

I have a new version of the cover, but photobucket isn't working. You can see it on my author page, if you're on Facebook. Here is the link to the page.

Lynne~ If I didn't say so on FB, yes, I do like the cover art quite a lot. :)

Amanda Beth~ What genre is your novel? I can't remember if you ever said.

I did not participate in NanoWrimo this year. Too many other projects on my desk and still trying to wrap up my fanfictions as well. I think I'm going to be doing a SpringoWrimo or something though. ;-) I really do need to just sit down and hack out one of my outlined novels kamikazi style, and sooner rather than later. Hopefully, RL will cooperate after the new year. :write:
