I'm interested in reading it of course but I'm not gonna go out and get it purposely like I did with all the Others and the Twilight series - DH just finished it for me, I think that because it was such a dissapointment it kind of destroyed my Potter Passion. I still like the series just not half as much.

So, I got the Tales of Beetle the Bard yesterday for my b-day and I've only read the first story, but I have to say, it's better than I thought it would be.

Aw, Beetle the Barb! I want to read it, but I can't go out and buy it since my mom is still trying to convince my dad to buy me the entire Harry Potter collection in hardcover, so I'll have to wait when the holding list at my library isn't so long. It looks interesting, though.

I think it will be cool to read the whole stories and see how they fit in with the rest of the books, and we cant forget the cackling stump or whatever that is!!

I used to very obsessed with Harry Potter. At some point in my life my best friend and I actually believed it was reality but since we were muggles we couldn't see it. :?
After I read DH the obsession sort of ended. Now I'm still a fan but not as crazy as I used to be. I guess I sort of closed down that chapter of my life after I believed HP had ended.
I didn't get the Tales of Beetle the Bard yet. I was thinking about buying it last Friday but I secretly hoped my parents would get it for me on Saturday because they went to this big store where they certainly sold it. But they didn't. :( Oh well, I'm thinking about going to a book store today and hopefully they'll still have some copies for sale. I'm glad to hear it's worth reading. I was afraid it wouldn't be too interesting. But it is, right?

Yes I got it for my birthday, my friend pre ordered it for me so I got it the day it came out.

I think it is lovely, and yes it is interesting. It says at the start that it is translated from the runes by Hermione Granger. If you remember the book Dumbledore gave her was written in runes. It has funny little notes in it from Hermione!

Also the end has a litlle word from Dumbledore ..... Great for one last Harry Potter fix! ;)
