Well I have a friend who's "obsessed" with twilight, but she hasn't even finshed the series, is that what you mean?

That gets on my nerves too. I know a lot of people who have seen the movie and 'LOVE Twilight' but they haven't even gotten past the first book...

My dad doesn't really care. Honestly, he doesn't really keep tabs on what I do, I was obbsessed with Twilight for the longest time, before he finally realized what it was about, and it took the synopsis to the movie to tell him. And he only found out about it because I kept going back to the movies to watch it with friends... So, Yes, my dad is fine with vampires.

My mom sent my aunt Twilight for Christmas. My aunt supposedly hates reading but I guess she finished the book in a week and asked her bf to order her the other 3 for Valentines Day. :P

So yea, my mom is okay with the Twilight vampires. It took some convincing to get her to read the book but she ended up loving them enough to spread the love around. She hated me reading Harry Potter though. I actually had to read them at night by flashlight or in the bathroom, lol.
It's like a dream- no end and no beginning.

My mom is a Twi-mom. She thinks it's great. She actually called it "abstinence porn". But she doesn't like vampires. I've been reading vampire novels as long as I can remember and my mom has always disapproved. I think the Cullen-verse vamps are the weakest I've ever read about but maybe that's why my mom likes it. I don't think she's a fan of girls who kick butt and stand up for themselves.....or who have sex. Mostly I just ignore her, but I wish she would buy my Persitence of Memory instead of the super-special-awesome Twilight special edition I don't even want...she'd save a lot of money if she did.

My mom is also a Twi-mom. She's the last person I would have expected to love the series, but she's almost as big a fanatic as I am. (Even though I can't get her to admit it.)

I'm 17. All my parents know about the series is that its got vampires in them. lol. They don't really like me reading "scary" stuff. rofl. So this is a typical conversation between me and my mum when she asks me about the Twilight Series, I usually try to change the focus of the conversation:

Mum: So hows the books? What are they about?
Me: Umm...yea good. Its about vampires and stuff. Like magic and stuff kinda like Harry Potter.
An akward pause for about 10 seconds in which my mum waits for me to elaborate.
Me: So yea...you know the author is really good. She's gonna be as successful as J.K Rowling.
Mum: I've heard that there's a movie about it.
Me: What? Oh yea...
And then I usually just try to pick up a newspaper and read it or pretend to watch the TV and change the channel or get up and get a drink or smth to eat. Anything to avoid the Twilight conversations.
