Update: Despite popular belief I didn't die again. I was simply to tired to update Friday night and went skiing all weekend and then watched the Oscars(RPatz was there, yes, I did squeee). I didn't see 'S' today because I had my head down when I was in his hallway going to spanish because I didn't want anyone to see me cry and send me to the guidance counsler to talk about my 'feelings'(and he's a guy, I don't feel comfortable). None of my friends wanted to be my partner for an SS project and they always work with each other. Oh the teenage drama(Rumors, Hormones, and Friends Oh My!). So anyways onto the dance on last Friday. I had a pre-party of greatness, then we loaded into the Jeep(aka Team Gas Guzzler) and our Toyota(aka Team Fuel Efficent and the one I rode). We got to the dance and I went looking for 'S' after a couple songs. I saw him with friends and he was looking at me all through out the evening according to my friend Jo(nick name). We talked some with his group(Jo came along with me) all shared a thing of sprees(I realized they were super sour, we all got a good laugh out of that) then Jo tried to 'help' me flirt with him. she first of all nudges me and that hurt(skinny arm vs. very skinny arm(me)) so I scream oww. Here we go.

Me: OWWWWWWWW! Jo that really hurt.
Jo: Does anyone want to help P****(my name)
*enter the ackwardness*
Me: Death stare at Jo
Jo: Anyone, anyone? *Looking at 'S' who is just as ackwarded as me*

She did that several times, then the guys tried to jump over tables(me too, though mine turned into a climb), he did awesome, and he can do a scissor kick(how cool is that?).

Do I need to tell you how proud I am that you asked him? Seriously! I'm super excited!
But I agree with Sam... it sounded like he doesn't know. Not that he doesn't want to. He definately sees you as a friend though, now we have to work on making that go a little steamier on the charts.

Today my "brother" (incase you don't remember ... Lu) told me to go to the same college as him. He was serious.
Nothing else has happened.
I need to sleep and swim in the excitement of BDB. =D

Well seeing as my date-that-wasn't-a-date with L didn't go too well, I'm thinking I should try my luck with someone else. Problem is, out of all the girls I know, the one's I would consider asking out are either already taken or I've already tried with. I don't think I'm gonna try with anyone else from work, because it would be just too awkward, and that lessens my options considerably. I would try with someone at my running club, but apart from A, the next oldest is 15, and 15 and 20 is just plain wrong! So now I'm wondering just what the hell I should do My self confidence is slowly building, but still quite fragile, so don't expect to just start talking to random people I don't know

Psugar, your story about the elbow shoving and how Jo was trying to helpp made me smile. Get out there and talk to S some more. Or as Lena told me. Ask him out. Sounds like a gret night though. And tell me about teenage drama.

Lena, going to college with Lu. That sounds like an adventure. And I would ask Brad out if I actually saw him and talked to him at all. Right now, I am settling for the random times I see him and his smiles. That's good enough for me. =] Really though, college with Lu. that would be interesting you won't run out of things to talk about on here that's for sure. =]

Goymer, Aww don't get your hopes up. I'm sure you'll meet someone. And to build your self confidence more you have to talk to people. Any opportuity you see to talk to someone take it. Let's say you're at a bookstore and see a girl looking at a book that you've read strike up a conversation giving her a review for it. Just try.

Update type thing, but isn't really an update update:
So as I said earlier Brad has been away from town that makes it so that I have not seen him since Thursday. Well I'm with my friend at her locker between classes looking for Brad. Mostly for his blond hair since it's rather easy to spot in a crowd. Of course in that moment my friend closes her locker and we continue walking down the hall and this strange guy is smiling at us. First I think he is bald and waht a creeper. Double take time. I realize he is not bald and its Brad. Wow, he got a haircut and it's rather distrubing.
Then tonight I had to go tutor and well it's me, my friend, this guy I went to elementry school with, two other guys I don't talk to, some college students, and this last guy. So of course my friend and I are having fun, laughing and such. Well he ccomes over after we were talking to him about our mutual extreme dislike for the grade below my friend and I (he is a senior). The whole time is spent laughing and talking about nothing. Though what was nice was that I was sitting across from him and we kept the eye connection thing going on and it was great. This will not move more foreward than casual flirting and being aquintances. Though he did look and talk to me more than me friend. Of course he is making me crack up while I'm about to take a drink of water and like a fool I spit/spill water thus embarassing myself.
That is my lovely dating life so far. Now off to write a message to Brad about cutting his hair. TA!

Well just because you don't have anyone that you're interested in right now doesn't mean that you need to FIND anyone. Just don't worry about it and casual flirting interactions will occur, even with random strangers, when you don't even realize it. Someone will come your way, but only if you let her find you. ;] :]

Update:
I'm still kind of sick, but I made myself go to school today. EVERYONE kept asking me, "Are you okay? Are you alright? You don't look so good! What's wrong!?" Sheesh. I mean, I appreciate everyone's concern, but... Yeah, I don't know why I'm complaining haha.
As for boys... I saw David today and things totally weren't weird even after his confession of love for me last Friday. Which is great.
Things are still awkward with Tim...
Dakota was SO EXCITED I was back at school today. He hugged me for a good ten minutes and was like, "My bestie's back!" Jeez.
And Andy... Didn't seem all that concerned. I was walking with him and Eliot and Will and I was getting all dizzy and I thought I was going to fall over. So Will and Eliot were both like, "Oh my god, are you okay? Is there anything I can do?" and like steadying me and stuff. And Andy just... walked there. And didn't say anything. I didn't even get a hug from him today... But I guess that's cause we didn't leave together. But he did do this thing when I came into theatre where I was walking over to him and he had his hands out and he was motioning like he wanted me to come over to him so he could like... Hold me to him? Like, wrap his hands around my back, but not like a hug... If you get what I'm saying? Anyway, I could tell that's kind of what he wanted to do but then he realized that I'm not his girlfriend and that probably wouldn't look too non-suspicious to everyone else...

I think it's really quite cute that he asked you, although you must go to the college of your choice and not give into peer pressure! (that was what I'm constantly getting told by my careers councillor anyway )

Psugar You were skiing?! I love it that you can just go "ski" whenever you want! If you don't mind me asking where abouts do you live? (I swear I won't track you down and abduct you. Seriously! ) Your dance sounded fun although you now have a bruised arm! I wish we had dacnes! Darn the Welsh education system! It's rubbish! Well done for attempting the scissor kick/ climb as well! Up-date I had a hockey tournament today and I managed to pull a muscle in my backside! Who does that?! Anyway, that is uninteresting. (We didn't win by the way! It was annoying!)
I'm also extremely stiff form Monday nights exercise! It was extremely embarrassing! I had lifesaving class so I went with my friend although I was late to the class because I was stressing out about my hair. I walk in and everyone has been paired off to do tows but sir goes: " It doesn't matter Genny, you can go with O!"
So I turn around and there's O in the tiniest swimming trunks I have ever seen. Fortunately, I didn’t go red but I could have!
I then had to endure an hour of taking it in turns to tow one another across a pool, bearing in mind that O is about 14 stone of solid muscle. No joke! He does loads of sports so he does have a rather nice physiche I have to say. It was embarrassing though because I am totally cr*p at lifesaving so he had to coach me! At the end of the less on as well we had a really weird conversation as well:

O: Imogen, we're cool aren't we?
Me: Well apart from the fact I nearly drowned you I suppose!
O: No, I mean, we're fine now and everything aren't we?
Me: Yeah sure. Whatever happened happened! End of.
O: I'm glad **smiles** Your plaits looks cute too.
Me: Thanks.
O: Same time next week then **winks and walks off**

I wanted to die with embarrassment!! How the hell am I goign to do it next week?!

update:
-not a great week so far.
-i was at this party on saturday and i thot it would just be the 7 of us and konner's (lets just call him that, hes one of my bff's who happens to be gay) little brothers friend, so i wore a fansy dress that everyone likes but 3 other guys showed up at the party so i looked retarded for dressing up so much. two of the boys were akward (and not cute) and wanted to leave, the other was polite and cute (haha konner was hitting on him) and said thank you a bunch and huged me, the girl that invited him and konner. but i dont like him as more than a friend, so really other than that there's been nothing going on with the boys and tiffi lol
-that includes fred; i dont talk to him or make eye contact much anymore. but i do think about him, sometimes. he got an UGLY haircut but i think that id still say yes if he asked me out....but i dont really care.
-jan and tj are still battling it out, im with tj (as i said before) jan is like crazy and texts him ridiculas things that he cant ignore because theyre so provoking, rude, or surprising. ive been telling her not to talk to him but she never takes my advice (altho she keeps asking for it, again and again and again) so i got kinda angrey with her, she took it well tho.
-tj has a new girlfriend, she is NOT cool. lol guys that date younger girls loss status, everyone is shocked he likes her but im just happy that hes with someone that isnt jan. ughh she needs to get a life or else shes gonna end up with a restraining order.
-ok now back to fred (sorry ADD) so in spanish me and chico are buddies and our clase goes into fred's class sometimes to sing the ridiculas spanish songs to help us memorize irregular verbs and such, me and chico are always talking and high fiving and stuff and fred sees this. im not so sure what it looks like because i have no feelings other than friendly ones towards chico. but if fred thinks differently.....could that inpact his lack of flirting?
