Lily, GREAT JOB!
Chiara, good luck with the Fimo

I'm really tired and won't post long (my brain is starting to malfunction) but I just had to come here and strut my stuff.
Because I'm so good it hurts! *having a ego boost the size of Jupiter*
Why? Because: http://dragon-pup.blogspot.com/2010/05/ ... -pram.html 'nuff said!

Good to know at least some finale is good...has anyone seen the Lost series grand finale???? I was totally disappointed - but I won't tell anything until I know all of you have seen it or are not interested...anyway, I woke up at 6.00 a.m. to see it live from the USA and when I saw the ending titles first I was like  then  and then
I can't decide if it's worse than the X-files finale...............

I haven't tried with Fimo yet because I have some essays for my online course on cooperative learning to submit. Luckily enough they must be only 2-3 pages long so I'm writing one per day.

I finally got my blood tests results: no viruses or infections, which is good, but I have something wrong anyway. I can't read them, the only thing I know is that some values are out of range. Tomorrow I'll send all the results to the new doctors and see what they say...I feel a bit better though, even if I am still on a light diet and not gaining weight. Well, not taking weight while the baby is growing ok is definitely a very good thing :D

Goodmorning lexlot,

Pentacost weekend is behind us (in the Netherlands that means monday's a national holliday) and the weather was awesome perhaps even a bit too warm for poor old me.

Today I will have my first paying tarotcoaching cliënt and somehow I am nervous as hell, wich is not somethijng I am used to. Next to my first client I have an appointment with someone I am hoping to welcome as a long term cliënt, so I have to be on my best behaviour. It is tough to do such a deeply emotional and spiritual service after working as a dayshift manager at an internet- TV provider/ cable company callcentre type thingy... going from hyper speed comerce to complete zen in less then 30 minutes (while riding my bike to the shop). If I manage that, I will have found something unique to teach my clients, ha!

Good things are happening and I have a positive vibe driving me lately...

I have a strange and busy week, but if things go well that is something I will have to get used to.

For now...

May the moon light your path,

Sidney

Good morning Lexlot...

There's way too little posting going on here.... if you can do it on facebook, you can do it here... come on girls (and boys) this thread is in need of reanimation.

My first client yesterday went absolutely fantastic. Without breaking confidentiality; this was an elderly lady, could have been my granny, looking for a place to start to broaden her horizon and start doing things her way... absolutely awesome and very energizing. She was very enthusiastic and thanked me over and over for just the 40 minutes we invested.

Work today even feels less annoying then usual haha.

Question for you people, out of personal and professional curiousity...

-Do you know anything about Tarot?
-What do you know about Tarot?
-Do you own a tarot deck?
-Do you believe in the supernatural ( Spirits, Angels, ESP, etc) and which do you believe in?
-Do you think of tarot purely as something to do with the supernatural?
-Personal experiences?

Somewhat more personal I would love to know, please pm me if you don't want to post...

-Do you follow a specific religion
-What does your religion say about Tarot and the supernatural (no not the series)

I would realy love it if you answered the questions, I am very curious to see how you lot feel about these things.

May the moon light your back

Sidney

Sid's questions for the lexily, out of personal and professional curiosity...

-Do you know anything about Tarot?

Eeehr... no
-What do you know about Tarot?
It involves cards? Well, I know a little more, but only what's shown in TV-shows, and I lay no weight on that to be correct.
-Do you own a tarot deck?
Nope
-Do you believe in the supernatural ( Spirits, Angels, ESP, etc) and which do you believe in?
I believe there's something, but I'm not sure what, and not sure I wanna know.
-Do you think of tarot purely as something to do with the supernatural?
no?
-Personal experiences?
none

Somewhat more personal I would love to know, please pm me if you don't want to post...
-Do you follow a specific religion
does dragonism count? JK, I'm Evangelic-Lutheran (Christian) but do not follow it, I don't agree with the church in many ways
-What does your religion say about Tarot and the supernatural?
I'm not sure, but since they proclaim the existents of Angels, that's supernatural right? ;)

Ay, ay, Sir!

I don't know about anyoen else's excuses but I'm busy with a course this week. I've even got FB in minimum and tweeting even more so. 5-10 minutes during the day and then I'm too tired to post later. How do you working people do it? I salute you. my body ain't used to being away from home 8hours/day and its exhausting me. Even more so than my days with my boys.

To satisfy Sid's personal and professional curiousity...

-Do you know anything about Tarot?

bits and pieces maybe
-What do you know about Tarot?
its cards, pictures, life path-stuff...
-Do you own a tarot deck?
No.
-Do you believe in the supernatural ( Spirits, Angels, ESP, etc) and which do you believe in?
A bit yes. But it's another one of them things that never happens to me.
-Do you think of tarot purely as something to do with the supernatural?
no, I think it can give some insight other ways too.
-Personal experiences?
I was in this tight and close small chat room 8-10yrs ago. One of them was an older guy that did tarot. It surprised me since he really didn't seem the type that would do that stuff. (He's a 50yo professor in Helsinki university on computer science!) He once freaked me out telling me specific things about my relations to one guy, just by asking me a question and looking into his cards.

-Do you follow a specific religion
I'm lutheric, but not very deeply religious. I actually just believe that there is something bigger than us.
-What does your religion say about Tarot and the supernatural (no not the series)
the lutheric religious would probably say "its devils work", but my own believes say "I have an open mind. tell me all about it and I'll try to see it in different angles and form my opinion, which I won't be shoving down anyone else's throat."

-Do you know anything about Tarot?
Not a spectacular amount
-What do you know about Tarot? how to read them, the origins (a little), how they translate to playing cards, and most of the symbolism used
-Do you own a tarot deck? yes, 3
-Do you believe in the supernatural ( Spirits, Angels, ESP, etc) and which do you believe in? my beliefs are actually a little bit complicated. I was raised Catholic, and attended a lot of Jewish celebrations and have done a bit of research into Wicca and Hinduism. But my actual beliefs are that of infinite human imagination and possibility. If people believe in it, it exists. It is our belief that brings things into existence, conversly if people stop REALLY believing in it (and I mean everyone) it no longer exists. This goes for all the many deities worshiped over the course of human history as well as the many versions of the afterlife and supernatural creatures. I also believe that you can't go to hell unless you believe it exists, same with purgatory, heaven, valhalla (sp?) and reincarnation, which means athiests really go nowhere after they die but everyone else goes wherever it is they've spent their lives believing they go (not sure what that means for me)
-Do you think of tarot purely as something to do with the supernatural? no, all the universe is interconnected, there are no coincidences, just because you can't figure it out doesn't mean it isn't real
-Personal experiences?with tarot or in general? I've experienced things that haven't been explained, and I've had my cards read by several different people, whatever the question or interperetation they are almost always accurate, I keep a tarot journal too so I can look back later and see if something I wans't sure of makes more sense in hindsight.
-Do you follow a specific religion? I think I answered this above, I once took an online quiz to see what religious beliefs I'm most compatible with, I got a three way tie between Roman Catholicism, Modern Wicca, and Thelema. I haven't attended church services in over a year but if asked I answer Catholic, though I'm not sure the Pope would agree
-What does your religion say about Tarot and the supernatural (no not the series) Actually, The Curch doesn't frown on such things as much as "outsiders" seem to think. I mean if you look at feast days and the saints and angels and all the little traditions it fits in very nicely with most ancient northern european religions. Oficially as long as you aren't specifically calling on the powers of darkness or opening your home and body to spirits it's all good.

wow that was a little preachy/ranty. Hope I helped you out.

Hey Lexily! Ok first I will do Sid's questions

-Do you know anything about Tarot?
All I know is that I don't want the Death card.. hehe...
No seriously I don't know much.

-What do you know about Tarot?
I would like to know what my Tarot cards read.

-Do you own a tarot deck?
No, I don't

-Do you believe in the supernatural ( Spirits, Angels, ESP, etc) and which do you believe in?
I have to see it to believe it, so right now, no.

-Do you think of tarot purely as something to do with the supernatural?
No I think it is based on chance, but I really don't know a lot to be really comfortable with my answer.

-Personal experiences?
In what Tarot? I never had a reading. I did have a palm reading once and the lady gave me bad luck for a while. lol

-Do you follow a specific religion
Nope, I am a NORA...No Organized Religious Affliations

-What does your religion say about Tarot and the supernatural (no not the series)- I am my own religion, I say Yay!

OK so that was pretty easy. So I currently have tendinitis in my shoulder which hurts sooo bad that I would like to chop my arm off. It isn't a constant pain, but if I move my arm in a certain way it feels like someone is sticking a knife into my shoulders and pulling it down into my muscle to the tips of my fingers. So yea it's so much fun to be in soooo much friggen pain. The bad thing is I am going camping this weekend for Memorial Day!!! If anyone knows me, they know I am not an outdoorsy kinda girl... this is going to be so bad and with a bummed arm. Greg and I went to Target tonight to get stuff, so that was fun. It will probably only be the fun part!!! UGH! But I will def. come back and share any stories. If I don't come back I will probably be in the Delaware Water Gap floating around. Bye!!
