Misty--warm thoughts and sympathy headed your way.

I'm back! I survived! And I actually read all the posts! About my name--I think Jennifer was like the most common girl's name in the 80s or something. And Ryan had to be the most common for boys because I've met like 12 just here in podunk country that were all around my age.

Becs--there are other ways of getting "cardio" while still having fun...*wink wink hint hint*

McMegs--have been counting down to the opening of the HP park at Universal since I heard it was opening! I watched a thing on the website where sexy sexy Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) talked about the park and how cool it was going to be and he'd seen some of it and said it was better than walking onto the movie sets. I can't wait! (and yes I love Draco--sue me). Also, thank you very much for mentioning Chicago pizza--now I want a deep dish so bad! I loved Chicago both times I visited. Though, the second time I was mostly in Joliet for my evil aunt's wedding. Outdoor wedding in Chicago in August = a lot of sweaty people in polyester. Not fun.

Sarah-no you didn't message me but thanks for the update! I'm not sure if I'll have a job by then, I'm trying though, but if I don't I don't have to worry about taking time off!

I watched Juno and I think I'm in love with Michael Cera. No joke. I freaking loved that movie, and now I absolutely have to see Year One. He's hilarious and endearing at the same time. I just wanted to cuddle him so bad! I wish I could have a boyfriend like Paulee Bleeker. Yet another Canadian actor.

I also watched Alvin & The Chipmunks, Sugar and Spice, and Beverly Hills Chihuahua. Starz is very entertaining. I didn't think the chihuahua movie was going to be any good but I actually liked it. It made me cry. Gimme a break, it was 2am and I couldn't sleep. Oh, and I caught Josie and the This is no place for a cat. Cats. Reminded me how much I adore Alan Cumming. Also, there's no WAY a chick as dumb as Melanie could play the drums like that. You have to do a lot more than count to four. Believe me, I'm a band geek and I used to be quite good with my clarinet, and I couldn't play the drums. I can't even really play them in Rock Band.

I need some grown-up conversation! 2 weeks with kids is driving me nuts! If I have to hear any song by Hannah Montana, Jonas Brothers, or the Naked Brothers Band again I think I'm gonna scream!

Glad it's over, glad I'm back, and that's all for now. Later lexlings!

Hi everybody!!!!! Just a quick message to tell all of you that...............WE DID IT  I'm pregnant. I used two stick tests yesterday, just to be sure. I should be at the beginning of the 3th week. Next week I'll make the blood test, just to be sure...I really hope the test didn't fail but the line was so visible!!! Besides, I have all the common symptoms: nausea, tiredness...I'm so happy!!!

Oh, for those of you who are on FB: I've decided not to post anything about this. I know this is a very delicate period and since there are some friends of friends I don't like very much I don't want them to enter in any of this. It may sound stupid but I'm not in the mood to read any funny or acid comments...we can talk about it in private because I'm sure that you'll be as dazzled by the news as I am :D

You know what, this weekend it's a year since I tested (vaguely) positive and the clearly the following Tuesday. I know for a fact that Misty was driving her hubby insane wondering how the Tuesday test would turn out :D

Wingtear-I was like that as well when I found I was preggers back in 2005. But I took the test 3 days after the first test and it was SOLID positive. Like, it showed up within 5 seconds lol!

Wohoo! :D Congrats Chiara! Great news. That was fast! I wish you and your growing family all the luck in the World.

also, I'm sorry for Misty's loss. Always hard...

My last living grand parent is in the hospital now. She had a heart attack couple of days ago. Few of my aunts are nurses with connections in there so they've pretty clearly explained the situation for us. Grandma is gonna need a by-pass surgery and they don't do big surgeries in that hospital so they're gonna move her to Oulu on tuesday and operate on wednesday. I hope she makes it. She has had a long and full life with 13 kids, 30 grand kids and about 10 great-grandkids so far. But we'd all miss her greatly.
